Seasons Greetings and Happy New Year 2010

Hi Chaps...

Just so you know...

I'll be on holiday (Sabah) for about 2 weeks from 18th Dec onwards and I hope every one had a great time during Christmas and new year celebrations...

I'll missed the engagement day of my ex-school mate in Penang (19th Dec) but I met him the day before (18th Dec)...spent some time with his families coming all the way from Sandakan earlier that day...Sorry but I will not miss your wedding day in the coming year!

I'll be attending a wedding ceremony of my dearest friend Helga+Norman some where in KK on 26th Dec...perhaps a perfect time to catch up with others (ex-USM) ; expecting to see those faces again (after 2-4 years) on that wonderful day!

I'll be spending my time with relatives in Tambunan during the first quarter of my holiday then Ranau with families during Christmas celebration then of course before leaving Land Below The Wind, I'll definitely be in KK...

I'll be flying back to Penang on 3rd Jan 2010...

I wish you wonderful Seasons Greetings and Happy New Year 2010

* Drive carefully and aramaitee!

♬ Lucky ♬

I've been watching YouTube.Com these couple of days for Guns N Roses new performances and I wasn't disappointed at all...It looks like Axl Rose is back to his prowess vocal (though it may not powerful and energetic as he used to be 15 years ago)

Today, when I opened Yahoo web page, the front page showed a Japanese kid playing Jason's "I'm Yours"...obviously, you wouldn't want to see how perfect he plays and sings but how possible a kid could make 4 million hits on the internet...adorable! I then watched couple of vids of Jason Mraz performing his songs "live"...I've always been into his song/music since the previous album with a song "You and I"....there were loads of video showing him performing with other local artists whilst touring but one that stands out the most was when he performed the beautiful song "Lucky" with this young+pretty+cute Irish singer named Lisa Hannigan (google to know more about her)...

What amazing about Lisa is that..she has a very soothe voice...well, if you've listened to her debut album and some of his previous shows with Damien Rice band, it may not come to surprise to notice her 'peaceful' voice...nonetheless, the way she sang Lucky isn't what you'd expect (want to make a cut artists)...a very lovely lady...

It has a simple lyric and fun melody..just love the song..fun to listen to...♬cherry cherry boom boom...♬

R.I.P Biggie

He stopped eating since 4 days ago....

His body begun to 'move' by itself since 4 days ago...

He couldn't properly walk the way he used to be since a week ago...

He could barely stand since 4 days ago.....

He couldn't walked since 2 days ago...

He was a very stubborn dog....

He was once missing for almost a month...

He was the last clan of Tankerina (mother)...

He was loved by everyone...

He will always be in our heart...

He just got his citizenship 8 days ago...

His tag is with me as a key-chain....

I'm off today and I took the chance to bring him to a vet...at first I was just planning to get a medicine to put him to sleep for good but the vet couldn't do that and I have to bring to the vet (of course with a cost)

Biggie waiting for his farewell journey...he even looked at me at this time when I 'sayang-sayang' him as if he could sense it was his moment...
I cleaned him once I've returned from vet...I vomit several times whilst cleaning his body due to his own poop and urine all over his body...I then realized how worst his condition was...blood coming through his skin...couple of bruises all over his body (lack of nutrients due to not eating)...I almost cry seeing him like that....

Finally at about 5:32pm, 18 Nov 2009...Biggie was put to sleep forever...I witnessed the whole procedures and wished him goodbye before the vet injected him with a high dose of...(I couldn't remember what it was called) and he slowly stopped from moving....I took him home (usually the body will be dealt by SPCA - burn to ash but I said I will bury him myself) it was hard to bury him after 4 years being with us...according to the vet, he was infected with a major virus among dogs around the world (major killer)...Biggie condition at that moment was semi conscious according to the vet..even if the virus were cleaned his body will not be strong as he used to be...moreover his body has been damaged due to the virus...the vet advised me to clean his place with an anti-bacteria detergen as the virus is quite contagious to any dogs...I did with detol...Biggie is now resting at the backyard of the house with Hairy.....

After he was bathed prior taking him to vet and this was how the virus had affected his body

I might have not spent so much time with you but I always cared and loved you very much as if you were my own son...

You'll be remembered...RIP Biggie, 31 Jul 2005 - 18 Nov 2009

I’m no immigrants

Hell yeah!! I think that’s what Biggie and Husky were saying in their heart…

Finally after 3 attempts (4 actually)…I managed to get their citizenship..haha…

I went to the Penang Municipal with high hope of getting it done but the lady at the counter told me to show proof of mailing address….I’ve never ever been informed about this so I drove back home to take my recent Maxis bill then went back there…thankfully the traffic wasn’t bad but it was raining...4th attempt and it was successful…

It was quite fast actually...I gave the form along with my IC and Maxis bill and proceed to make payment at the other counter…RM10 per dog then went back to the other counter where I was given the dog tags (E06540 and E06541) and that was it…done!!

I’m quite happy for both Biggie and Husky...now they don’t have to feel ashamed of being immigrants (kalau dorang pandai malu la…) most importantly they are officially Malaysian citizen…haha...

This month is Husky’s 1 year anniversary with us…I celebrated his anniversary yesterday by buying him a KFC Dinner Plate (purposely for him only) and home cooked dishes (shared with Biggie of course)

Hope they live happily ever after…even sometimes bikin gerigitan…haha..

Weekend Relaxation

Hi chaps...it's been a week since the last update huh..

I'm feeling good this week (always been though) as I have 4 days of 'weekend' starting Fri-Mon...you know why and I don't have to explain how I got it...

Nothing much to pen down at this moment...been busy catching up few movies (DVDs) I added few more into my collection yesterday noon....I woke up early to drop my friend at the airport at 9am then returned home...watched movie then went out to check out a Penang-Langkawi ferry service at town...then made a second attempt to apply for dog licenses at the Penang Municipal but I was late (closed at 12:15pm - will go next Monday la) I then drove home...

Arrived at home...I continued my DVD marathon...watched 4 DVDs...hehe..

Again, I was thinking of visiting my ex-colleague who opens a Nasi Lemak+Satay stall nearby but decided not as it was still raining..spent time with Husky..he happens to be my drinking buddy last night..haha.. sikit saja la..nanti mabuk entah apa lagi dia buat...he was barking at this one little tiny mice hiding behind the septic pipe at the backyard and I could hear a 'crying' sound came from the mice...so I decided to help the scared mice by taking Husky into the house...the backyard is now his new home although at first I put him there to punish him for his attitude months ago but now he seems better and comfortable there....He's so big and tough now yet horny as horse..haha..

Husky waiting kena bagi makanan
Earlier today I watched 2 of my other new DVDs but they both weren't good...1 couldn't play at all and the other was stuck half way..I decided to replace them but I ended up buying few more DVDs...then saw these few Blue Ray DVD....asked and confirmed with the 'guys' there that I could play these DVDs on normal DVD player....yes so I bought 3 of them with the price of RM25 after discount...returned home and tried one of the Blue Ray DVDs...awesome!!! I tried the other 2 and they were awesome!!! Audio+Visual+Subtitle+Features=Awesome!! a converted Blue Ray DVD movie cost about RM10 each but it sure hell worth buying....this is going to be my new baby in future...hehe...I could get about 12 Blue Ray movies off RM100!!! whereas I could get 25 dual layer DVD with the same amount of money...I can see the difference between them in term of cost and quality..hehe...a big smile...

Husky bersantai
I really have nothing much to do during these few days than resting so...you won't be surprise reading my FB's status "DVD marathon..."I just love hanging out at home watching movies...today a little special though..I bought the KFC Variety Meals (6 pieces chicken+4 hot rods+2 mash potatos+1 wedges) as a food supply..hehe..

Alright chaps..hope you had a great weekend and enjoy! I'm off for another DVD..hehe...

Patong Beach - Phuket Island

Arrived home from work at about 5pm, I hadn’t packed any of my stuff as usual…About 6:30pm I finished packing and 7:30pm took a taxi to Airport…Journey began from Penang at 9:20pm….
Brandon and Jew picked me up at KL Central and arrived at Bran’s house almost 1:00am….after sometimes not being together...so many things to catch up with….few cans of Chang beer and ended up sleeping at about 4:00am…woke up at 5:00am when the booked taxi came to pick us up…

Arrived at the airport an hour before the scheduled flight to Phuket Island at 7:25am….we checked in then went to have our breakfast….immigration check then to the gate…we were late!!!! Discussion after discussion we had to buy a new flight ticket to Phuket Island at 12:45pm and it cost each of us about RM300!!!!

Arrived at Phuket Island about 01:00pm and we took a taxi at a cost THB600….I think we were lucky to met the guy who promoted island hopping trip (Phi Phi-Maya-Khai) and he drove us to this travel agency (believe to be his accomplish) but it wasn’t a waste….the travel agency offered a good price…THB1200 on express boat or THB 1900 on speed boat...we took the THB1200 thinking it’s cheaper and of course it would be nicer to have other people along the trip…buffet lunch is inclusive on the boat, a van will pick and drop you off at the hotel…we then continued the journey to Patong Beach (the most famous beach in Phuket Island) that took about an hour…traffic congestion was not as bad as my trip to Pattaya then and we were amazed with their vehicles…Toyota, Isuzu and Mazda…..these are the only car manufacturer seen around….most common taxis are Toyota Vios….and their cars seems to be well taken care of…however we did see one Proton Satri Neo in Patong later that night..haha…

Arrived at Patong Beach…wow!!! Patong town is situated on the other side of a hill…so the road is up hill then down hill....once we reached at the top of the hill, we could see Patong town…its almost bigger than Sandakan….and the view from the hill top is so amazing….we arrived at the hotel almost 3:00pm and the hotel receptionist told us they were fully booked….no worries...hehe.…we were upgraded (that’s what they call it) to another 3.5 star hotel…the hotel I booked (Patong Beach Lodge) wasn’t bad at all as it has a swimming pool, situated 500m from the beach and all other entertainment outlets with a cost THB650 per night….the hotel driver drove us to the other hotel and wow!! We didn’t expect the hotel to be so nice (Horizon Beach Resort & Spa)…the hotel is situated about 200m from the beach…we were greeted and treated very nicely….Thais are famous to be good in customer relationship....they really are (I’ve experienced it in Pattaya and now in Phuket)…the hotel has 2 swimming pools…we checked in then spent couple of minutes in our room before we started our touring….hehe..

We spent the first day mostly on touring and reviewing….had couple of beers, late lunch and dinner….I think we walked almost 8km touring Patong Beach town…it was funny that we never lepak at Patong beach at all during the trip there…along the beach, there are plenty of thing you could possibly get into….seafood, mini-bar, bistro pub and many more…local taxi “tuk-tuk” were everywhere…some even pimped with great lightning, sounds and seats as decoration for attraction…a “tuk-tuk” can accommodate about 4 people (seat facing each other)…it’s a small size pickup turned into a limousine pickup….however, there was one turn off thing that we notice in Patong town (only in Patong perhaps because it’s status to be the most happening and attractive place in Phuket)…I wasn’t expecting the cost of living was so expensive as I had in Pattaya….a decent meal could cost you about THB100 (RM10) and a small bottle of beer at THB70 in a decent restaurant but THB140 (or higher) in a pub…imagine a decent lunch/dinner (3 dishes) cost us about THB500 – THB700….it’s a great place for holiday though...hehe….the night life in Patong is not much different than Pattaya although I think Pattaya is way more crazy (Walking Street in Pattaya is full of a-go-go bars) FYI, a-go-go bar is where you could see bikini babes dancing on the stage, on the table and even on you…if you brave enough, you might be able to grab these hot asses for your own satisfaction…haha…at about 7:00pm (Bangkok time – 1 hour behind us) we went back to hotel and had our perasmian swimming pool…haha…spent about an hour there (swimming pool closed at 8:00pm) then went out again for single lads night out…yet we weren’t sure where to go…one of the happening pubs (Margarita) was full and the other bars opposites a-go-go bars were full…ada juga si Jew sempat terpegun melihat bikini babes bekangkang-kangkang, lady boys dancing on a table….haha…the Rock Hard A-Go-Go bar is a private pub on the 1st floor so I couldn’t see much what were going on there..haha…we ended up drinking couple bottles of beer at this one decent pub facing the Margarita….we went back to the hotel before midnight and had another go with the beers in the fridge before zzzzzzzzzzzz………
Khai Island
Second day…as planned, a van picked us up at the hotel at 7:40am…there were about 6 people in the van with us and the journey took about half an hour to the other side of the Island passing through the outskirt of Phuket City…from Asia Marina jetty, we began our island hopping journey to Khai Island…Khai island is a small size island just about 35 minutes off Phuket Island…We stopped at Khai Island for an hour but me and Jew decided not to swim/snorkeling here…instead we enjoyed bottle of beer each..haha…we then moved to the Phi Phi Island then Maya Island (according the tour guide; Phi Phi Island consists of 9 rock islands and Maya is one of them)….first, we stopped at this one snorkeling destination for 45 minutes…it was quite a view...imagine la kalau ada panah kan..mimang ada suda berapa ekor tu kerapu kana panah bawah balik panggang...haha...because we were 50m to the rock wall, the wave wasn’t helpful at all…you’ll have to be more careful or else you might end up somewhere melakat di batu pasal itu ombak…haha…the last swimming/snorkeling stop was in 5 minute journey and it was nearby the famous beach in the movie titled The Beach made famous by Leonardo DiCaprio in 2000….even just nearby the actual location of the filmed beach..it was an awesome experience (according to tour guide, Maya means glowing/shining during a full moon…so they say the sea at the Maya beach is glowing at night during a full moon) After spending 30 minutes there, we moved to main land Phi Phi Island village…here, the goods were cheaper as I would have expected to be in Thailand…hehe..so another beer please!!! The journey back from Phi Phi Island to Phuket Island took almost 2 hours…I even slept during the journey…penat beranang kali...Arrived at the Asia Marina, our van was there waiting….

Maya Island
At night..we went out for the last trying to get a picture or glimpse of the new Hard Rock CafĂ© Patong…unfortunately, it is not open for business yet…punya jauh perjalanan kami..haha…we had dinner then before going back to hotel…we stopped for beers at Margarita…really, the place was so happening…full of foreigners and the live band was not bad at all… the bassist were great and the crowds were cool…I think Jew took some video of them playing…

The final day…we woke up before 5:00am and checked out at 5:30am…the hotel taxi has already there waiting for us to go to Airport….our flight back to KL was at 8:15am and arrived at KL at 10:35pm (Malaysia time)….the journey from the hotel to airport was about half an hour without traffic congestion…it was a great days in Phuket Island and sure will visit again next time when ada duit lagi..haha…

Arrived at LCCT KL as expected…my next flight was at 3:25pm so I had about 3 hours waiting….thankfully LCCT has my favourite hot dog 1901 (since when ah?) I ate 3 Great New York Chicken+Ice lemon Tea (great is big so imagine how much I like Hot Dog 1901) After waiting for 3 hours I finally left LCCT KL to Penang and arrived home at about 4:30pm….after an hour and a half of rest, I then left home to go to work again (Junior colleagues could not be left without supervision) arrived at the office before 7:00pm and everyone was happy to see me….the Manager called me for a brief meeting in his room and apparently their probation period had been extended due to some misconduct at work….then discussed couple more things about their progress and performance…at about 10:00pm that night…I think my body was damn tired…I felt like if I were on a boat…thankfully I had plenty of things to do that night so it become easier to ignore…at 12:40am I arrived home, took a shower then straight to bed…..what a day…

That’s it….would I recommend Phuket Island for a holiday? Definitely and ensure to bring lots of money…haha….not much to shop as in classy stuff but so many things you could possibly buy on along the road…even lolok kayu pun ada…also, their english is better than I had experienced in Pattaya..haha…

Have a great weekend chaps!!

Man's hand made cushion cover

Alright...this may sounds a little strange but it was truth and what had happened on yesterday (Sunday)....

After watching the Ice Age 3 - Dawn of the Dinosaurs at noon...I remembered that 2 weeks ago, me and Jew 'mengerjakan' the old sofa and we saved its tick rectangular sponge as we were planning to have it as a cushion...at about 3pm yesterday I went out to buy a sheet of cloth to wrap it up as well as 3 DVD folders...then the project began at about 4pm at our living room with the scissors, sewing needle and of course mesti la ada benang kan...I didn't move or do anything than sewing and watching astro since that moment..sambil-sambil hisap sigup and minum coca-cola la juga...it took me 7 hours to fully complete the task..at about 12 midnight I finally done with it...I was so happy that finally we have an extra cushion...can you imagine how painful my neck, my eyes (suda la kain hitam pakai lagi benang warna hitam..huhu..) and hands were???? My advice...if you ever receive a gift that involves sewing or knitting...please appreciates....it takes a lot of patients and hard work!!!! (Probably not if you're using a sewing machine though)

I even skipped my dinner...well I don't feel hungry though and it is just like me...once I'm into something I would not bother about anything that might waste my time to complete such task...hehe..imagine a single man like me willing to spend 7 hours just to sew the cover of this cushion (bukan simpulan/jahitan biasa kama...hehe..entah apa nama ni jahitan ah..lupa suda)

I'm quite happy of what I've made and decided to treat my hard work by buying KFC for dinner+ supper...enjoyed my KFC on a new covered cushion whilst watching interesting children’s' movie titled Imagine That (Eddie Murphy)...what a movie....imagine if you have a kid who has an imaginary world...people from imaginary world could even give you some insight about investment (perhaps jackpot number would be perfect for me)...

May you had a great weekend!!! Happy Monday!

* Jari jemari masih sakit kerja over time menjahit..haha..

Happy October....

Wah...lama suda inda mem'blog' oh...

Nothing yang special juga all this time ba...cuma sometimes ada juga benda-benda kecil yang mencuit di jiwa bila di fikirkan balik..haha..

Few days ago..at about 2am (just arrived home dari kerja)....whilst I was resting and watching Astro, I heard a ring tone from my mobile indicates a new text message has just arrived....upon reading the text message...I began to wonder..what la dia tetiba me'message' ni at this time...a message received from a new friend through a colleague of mine....I don't know how he got my mobile number but he was nice enough to introduce himself..yes! himself ah...hehe...the texting went well until it suddenly becoming more funny when he started 'flirting'...haha..asking if I have taken a shower...if I can send him a picture of me...asking if I wanted to have shower with him...keep asking about sending a picture of me....walawei...I could only smile and replied his messages in a good way without rejection la...as if all that were jokes to me...haha...funny when sometimes I think people misunderstood me for what I am.....haha....let's just forget about it...well, he was the one who told me I'm cute few weeks ago though....hahaha...what a world...

Yesterday evening..at about 6:30 pm....I was on the phone with one of our trainer (on site) and suddenly I felt my whole body was moved...few seconds after, it wasn't just a shaky movement as it was at the first place...our office is at the 23rd floor of 23 floors building...my manager and the other 2 of my colleagues were looking at each other and the other was saying...earthquake! My manager ran to the other corner of the office (pantry) where you could see the the water in a big bottle (drinking water) shaken by the movement and by that time...even me who was sitting talking to our trainer was a little concern as I could feel the chair I was on were moved slowly from left to right and forth...I told our trainer that I will get back to him and straight away we all went down...the escalator stopped couple of times but only few could fit in...people were running around trying to find their way to the ground floor...once we arrived at the ground floor...there have lots of people outside the building looking at the building...others who had just came out from the escalator were running towards the exit door and some were coming from the emergency exit...there were no strong wind and alert at all...well, it wasn't the first time but it was the strongest ever since we moved to that office almost 2 years ago...my manager then made a call to the UK office informing them about the earthquake....after almost an hour we all went up and continued our work...couple of emails came through from colleagues in UK who have heard about the news....I was told that the day before..there was a quite strong earthquake occurred somewhere in Sumatera....I haven't heard any of it though so...I thanked God as nothing bad happened....

In a few weeks...I'm hoping I could enjoy another holiday vacation....not sure if we could make it but I really hope we do as I had made plan for this and it is now a last minute purchase and planning....worse case scenario..I might end up going alone again???

I'm on call

I'm feeling good today...as today is the "Malaysia Day"

I'm not going to complain about "Malaysia Day" though....I'm not a politician and nor have good knowledge about the whole thing...

I'm off today!!! Kebetulan my beloved Sabah is on holiday as well....so, I guess all the Sabahans are enjoying their day off and some might have already gone home to kampung halaman from today onwards up to next Monday...

It sounds funny when my Manager asked me to be "on call" today as he's already on 8 days off since this Monday....I've always been "on call" even if he didn't ask for it so it really does not make any different at all...well, he phoned in last night to ask me another favour if I could cover his schedule on next Friday (he's supposed to supervise our juniors) I simply say...it's alright as I don't have plan on that day...

Right! Since i'm "On Call" today..I've been receiving couple of calls from colleagues for help and guidance since 10am (as that's the time the Manager had scheduled for others to call me..hehe..) I opened my webmail and there have loads of email from Oz customers...well, some of them just follow up emails...I don't really bother about those as they've already been dealt with...new issues have to be dealt soon as possible (within 2 hours based on urgency)...even developer had to call me for guidance on how to get connected with customer's server? Thankfully (thanked God) I have a good memory so I could remember the IPs for both VPN and RDP as well as their login credentials...and they've finally able to review/investigate those issues...good luck!

Have a great Malaysia Day chaps!

I'm lovin' it!

Deep down inside, I think it's a waste of money...it's an asset but not a liability I'd say...

Still, I love what I did..finally selepas 4 tahun bekerja dan simpan duit kenen..I decided to buy one of the thing I love when it comes to enjoying movies or party....

Hehe...I'm proud of myself for being able to fork out an amount of money to purchase a Home Theatre Speaker System and a new microfon (our existing mic ada karan - crack) Kehaaa!!!

I've been saving money since 3 months ago for this particular purchase...well, it's not even in my highest priority puchase but I think it's worth to have it now..it's timely prior to hari Raya (ada diskaun ba and the design as well as performance are worth)

5.1 Channel Home Theatre Speaker System with 12000 Watt P.M.P.O from HK Video (HKV)
- 1 Subwoofer
- 1 Center Channel
- 2 Front Channel
- 2 Rear Channel
- 2 Mic's
I spent about an hour on setting it up and position arrangment...then spent another 2 hours on sound arrangement to my preference both for Astro and DVD Player....the sound is superb!!!! I don't even feel regret on my purchase...and I'm a little amused by the fact that both the remotes for TV and the speaker work on both (tekan remote speaker the TV channel also changed and tekan remote TV, the volume on the speaker pula kana tukar) But no worries....I don't think it's a big deal..haha....

Pity I would not be able to fully utilise the 12000 Watt though...menghormati jiran tetangga ba..hehe..

Are we ready to have another "party" on Raya?????

1Malaysia???

This is a story of a man named Wel....a charming person :) and always calm until it explodes...

I was at the Penang Municipal yesterday afternoon to query about getting dog licenses (Husky and Biggy)..we never had one since Tankerina and it always make me worry whenever we let them out..who lets the dog out pula nanti persoalan dia...

I took the first step yesterday instead of wondering and worrying...I left home an hour earlier than I would usually do and drove straight to Penang Municipal..well, I did call my friend asking where can I apply for dog license in Penang before that though....

I arrived at the Penang Municipal, it was already 13:35...walked straight into the office towards the counter and I saw a tray with a signage "Dog License"...without hesitation, I took a piece of the form and read through its contents...applicable for only RM10 per annum and for dog over 3 months old...then came a Malay lady who asked me if I wanted to apply for dog license - Yes, I answered politely and smiled at her....she replied asking me to fill up the form and wait until 14:00 when the office resumes work...I noded and smiled at her again...she left the counter and I continued what I was doing earlier (read the form)

On the right hand side of that counter is a small partition of another counter and there was a Chinese lady who was leisurely sitting and enjoying her kuaci...I took 3 forms and walked to wards her counter then asked how to fill the form as it has 2 sections (top and bottom) with almost the same details and I was trying to get a confirmation if I were required to fill in details in both sections - Yes she replied. Then she began the interrogation...she asked me if I were Malay (I'm not Malay), asked if my religion were Islam (I'm Christian), asked if I were staying in an apartment or land house (Land-house)....she stopped asking then reminded me of Islam couldn't apply for dog license and will never be granted on any attempt...I reminded her I'm Christian again at this point yet I began to fell uneasy of her remarks at this time....she then asked me from where..I told her that I'm Sabahan....she was a little unsure and made a follow up question by asking me what am I doing in Penang, working?Study?...I replied to her politely, I work here in Penang...I was suprised when she replied me..oh, study....but I just keep it to myself...I then asked her if I need to prepare anything like copy of I.C along with the form...instead of replying to my question, she asked me if I have I.C?????? (Yes I have) another stupid question from her was...IC Malaysia?????? (Yes) and she asked if she could check my I.C...

I wished I could give her a brain wash at this time but Wel is a very calm man..and always be..hehe...I took out my I.C and showed it to her and smiled....with us in that room were 2 makcik and 1 pakcik..I noticed they were watching and listening to our converstation....she then asked where I stay in Penang (Sg. Dua nearby USM campus) then she guessed it correctly by saying I'm renting with other Sabahan...then she asked what I do in Penang...AGAIN??? This time I told her I studied in USM and is now working in Penang....whilst having a stupid conversation with her, I was texting with Jew at the same time (cerita pasal kebuduhan ni perempuan and lesen anjing) Suddenly she asked if I go to pray???What does it has to do with applying for dog license??? (Yes, I'm Christian; walau setahun sekali saja kali pigi church) Then I got the show stopper when she said...I thought Islam cannot have dog.....then another follow up question about Sabahan Malay...I told her in brief there's no Malay in Sabah..we are Bumiputras; KadazanDusun..there have plenty more like Bajau and Murut but there's no Malay in Sabah....once I've said that to her..I decided to end the conversation by saying I will come back later this afternoon when the office has resumed work....she sempat lagi check if I fill up the form correctly (I only fill up the house address) then she kind of reprimanded me and asked why I didn't fill up my name etc...I told her I will fill them up later before coming back this afternoon...before leaving, I smiled at her and thanked her for her "kindness"...

I think, she was just trying to do her job as counter girl...being helpful and being fussy perhaps...I left the office and smiled at the others in the room who were captured into our conversation....

Are we Sabahan ever think of Peninsular as an outsider?? As if Sabah is Malaysia and Peninsular isn't part of Malaysia??

This is utterly bullshit...Do we need to have more adverts on TV (and every where along the road) to show people all over Malaysia that Singapore (now out)+Sabah+Sarawak+Peninsular=Malaysia since 16 September 1963 (postponed from 31 August 1963 due to objection from Philippines and Indonesia)

Life without it...

Sometimes I question myself of this…

My father is a retired teacher and during his era…earning over RM1500 or even over RM2000 was a big relief for a family as big as ours…6 siblings…what makes it more interesting is that how he managed that amount of salary for us…at that time I didn’t really understand the hardship or earning money but thankfully I wasn’t pampered to have all the things I wished for…perhaps the prices were a little cheap at that time compared to today's prices...Whilst in secondary school, you could buy a fried noodle with an egg for RM0.50...of that time was very delicious!

I’m absolutely 100% sure that I would not dare to have a family of my own with all financial obstacles that might occurred…frankly speaking, my earning is not that much but good enough for a single man…still I’m not dare to say I’m financially secured as a single man…..there were time I’d have extra money and I saved it for something far more important i.e. trip back to Sabah, holiday plan and emergency.....I’ve been spending my money based on priorities since a year ago and it worked out pretty good for me….well, don’t believe me though…it’s not always good…there’s always temptation and I’m thankful enough to be able to deal them quite good….except DVDs…it is the one thing that I would not dare to be taken away off me…it’s now part of me..people sometimes says, they couldn’t live without football or getting high on drug…it is almost the same case for me…I would not hesitate to be a little stingy on other items rather than stopping myself from buying DVDs (I did try a while ago and managed to skip buying DVD for only 2 months) Plus all the appetite destructions (food craving) I’ve been having….things become more easier for me to skip meal over DVDs….moreover, I’d easily get bored with something yet it never happens on DVDs…well, I'm not into shopping kind of person..buy new clothes etc when required to...good God..

Imagine this fact; an engineer with at least 2-3 years of experience would earn about RM3000 and more on monthly basis…estimation based/depending on company and field of engineering (Penang)

Monthly Expenses consist of;
House Rent, Car Installment, Utility Bills (electricity, water, astro, broadband and etc), Credit Cards, Life/Health Insurance, Entertainment (DVDs, night out, fine dining, movies and etc), Family Allocation (Parents or siblings), Own Expenses (Foods, groceries, car fuel and etc)

How much would you think this person would possibly fork out every month into saving account??

And what if that person has a family of 2 kids??
That’s the basic necessity of a normal person would have…well, some might not have Life/Health Insurance or credit card or might not even go out with friends/colleagues during weekend for a good relaxation…which indicate more money into saving??

Last couple of years ago...my salary was just “ciput”…and I wished I could have a better salary but once it got better…it doesn’t really resolve the financial although it improves the living little by little months after another…it reminds me of why most rich people would say…rich is just a title in a society but it doesn’t really up-lift your life to something extraordinary…of course you can have all the luxury but they come with higher price tags than you’ve had before...more earning means more expenses…

A draft beer of this size for the price of normal draft beer today??
This couple of weeks…my so called business is looking good…thanks to a friend because he’s willing to help me running it when I needed his help...I’d pay for his services though….hopefully things will get better and better….

Would you prefer to be rich, moderate or poor?

I’m thankful I’m at moderate level and wish I would be able to pay up all the debt soon…especially credit cards…hehe…

Emotion over money??
I know that emotion without money would not work as well....1 over 10 could probably work it out with the help of love cupids but the rest, 9 would need more than cupid to work things out...haha...living in the materialistic world now has affected our mind into believing money is everything.....*sigh*

I'm a Christian la...)

Sebuah cinta hilang
Saat begini ternanti-nanti
Bayangmu sayang...

Bertanya-tanya pada sang bunga
Mengapa layu jua
Bertanya-tanya dihujung rindu
Kau pun berlalu

Ku ulangi pertemuan
Walau hanya ku mendakap sisa cinta
Bersama rindu yang terdampar
Saat ini aku sendiri menangisi
Pemergianmu kekasih
Dan cuba memujuk rindu
Yang pedih tercalar
Di sudut ingatanku
Airmataku kau renang bahagia

Tika begini aku sendiri
Kau menyepikan diri
Saat begini kau padu janji
Kasih yang baru
Kumasih sendiri...

Disaster strike twice

I woke up yesterday noon just couple of hours before I get ready to work then went down to lawat husky…..

I was so darn surprised to see my bike’s seat has about 6” sumpak on it…I was so pissed off and stared at him (he as usual buat inda tahu saja) I cleaned up the area then went to work by car...

At about 7:17pm that night…I received a text message from Mr Joel (my housemate) and he told me that my bike’s seat suda licin…I was so surprised to hear the news..At almost 1:00am I got home…I could see loads of debris under the poach…I looked at my bike and there you go…I can only see at it and stared at him again with a serious face….this has become worst than before...

It happened years back then when Tankerina was still with us…she was our first dog…at that time, it wasn’t this bad but it cost me RM90 to rebuild the new seat (foam and cover)

Then now it happens again but this time I don’t even have anything to instruct the workshop of what kind of design I would like to have…I can only bring the seat palette and ask them to rebuild it...

In my mind…how could he do this to me after all the good things he has had from me…he’ll pay for his attitude….huhu…saya balas dendam nanti saya pigi gigit ikur ko sampai butak baru ko tahu…huhu…what a waste of RM90….I could possibly use that money to buy him delicious foods…or perhaps DVDs at this weekend….

*Another pet of us, Biggy is currently not feeling well...he hasn't ate much these couple of days even when I bought economy rice (meat, vegy and fish) meant for him...If not mistaken he's 4 years of age...was born on 31st July 2006 (I was their God Father at that night when Tankerina gave birth to 5 white puppies)

Food Fest

It is one of the celebrations I’ve always waited every year…

It is one of the fests I’ve always waited every year…

There will be food fest every evening almost everywhere….

Name it, you can easily find your favourite ‘Malay’ food…duh…I would be amazed if you could find your favourite ’Chinese’ food there...

It's the fasting month (Ramadan)…I just love this moment every year…I’ve been having dilemma to fulfill my appetite but I guess that would not happen for some time now…hehe…

Courtesy of MagnusCalebCourtesy of MagnusCaleb

There are so many options I could opt for now….I just love malay foods so much due to the spices…

Not only that, I might be able to eat pucuk paku (paku pakis for Sabahan) or pucuk ubi and etc…kalau ada siput (tuntul for sabahan) lagi la bonus!

Having said that, I might be spending more than normal for foods during this period…It doesn’t really bother me though...I’ll be happy for fulfilling my food appetite…Husky & Biggy will join force indirectly..hehe…

Happy fasting to all Malaysian!!! Don’t eat and drive???

Ultimate Sprinter

What in hell is he???

Is he even a human or humanoid???

His own coach predicted he could have lowered the 9.69s to 9.52s in Beijing if he didn’t slow down at the last 20m to the finish line - Legacy of world's fastest man - ESPN

It was exactly a year ago in Beijing; 16 August 2008, he ran a world record time of 9.69s and now he did it again; 16 August 2009 with another jaw-dropping time of 9.58s!!!!

Bolt is currently about 0.7 shy of 9.51s; the fastest time human could possibly run according to scientificblogging

Quotes from the Berlin's 100m race

I would definitely say I gave it most of what I had because Tyson Gay was right there, so I had to push. I'm not in the best of shape, but I'm in great shape” – Bolt

I've been telling you someone could run 9.5. I'm happy he did it. It showed humans can take it to another level” – Gay

Well, I'm not sure if he's human; maybe he's from space. But it shows that it is possible, and a lot more guys are going to work hard to run 9.5s because Bolt has taken the sport to another leve” - Powell

Having fun in the rain

Have you ever thought of washing your car in the rain?? It was common when we were kids years ago having fun in the rain...either playing football in the rain or even swimming di 'salut' in the rain..then balik rumah kana marah sebab berlumpur...haha..

I've always had fun washing car(s) in the rain...for me it is an excuse to get dirty and wet..as if you were a kid playing in the rain again...come on, we always have the childish side in us..do not deny it! believe me....there's nothing better than childhood....

I had a fun evening today...it was raining..the cars were dirty...whilst waiting for my clothes in the washing machine..having couple of cigarettes (I hadn't had my shower...) I walked through the rain and prepared the hose, soap then apa lagi..haha..I think my neighbours have become familiar seeing me in the rain as this was not the first time...at least I can save litres of water kan..hehe..So think about it...whenever you're free and it's going to rain...get your gears and ready to have fun in the rain again...I'm sure you'll love it!!

Husky waiting to be saved from his fear??
Anyway, Husky "terperangkap" di atas cushion di dalam rumah..I believe he was scared to death because of the cushion..he couldn't get his balance and had to stay there for 3 hours watching me (through the window) having fun in the rain of whom he would usually interupts then another 1 hour waiting to be saved...I finally did and I could barely felt a little shaky from his body...penakut juga rupanya ko ni kan Husky...Earlier today when I was busy being a mechanic trying to figure out something with Jew's car...Husky was busy doing something and to my surprise (see picture below) Is he thinking of becoming a farmer??haha..macam mana dia buli cabut tu satu pokok bunga ooo...

It was originally at the top of the small hole back there

My review

Alright peeps!!!

Rumah paling akhir disebelah kiri (The Last House On The Left)

Cheers and enjoy your movies...

New Pattern

We have now started the new shift pattern...after discussion over discussion we decided to apply this new shift pattern...which I think quite productive in term of long term performance enhancement...

1. Evening-night (UK) shift continuously (3 months or more)
2. 4 days evening-night (UK) shift per week
3. 3 Patterns: A - Off day is Fri, B - Off day is Mon and C - Off day is Wed
4. No pay cut, instead evening-night allowance continues as normal

Right! I'm currently been allocated to Pattern A as I was off yesterday and I'm on to Pattern B next week which also means that I have 4 days off this week!!!

This week alone, it was a tiring week for me....I had and will be monitoring our 2 new colleagues.....the manager has told me that perhaps from next week onwards for a couple of weeks..I would need to stop supporting customers for awhile but guiding new colleagues to ensure they guided customers to do the right thing...

It's a relief but I don't really prefer to do this...we have a performance statistic report every week since July..it tells you how many calls have you dealt with, average duration on phone, how many calls have been resolved in 1/2/3/4/5 days, utilisation of hours work and lastly percentage of performance....I'm proud of myself!!! I beat the UK colleagues twice consecutively in July by becoming "Employee of the Week"...I'm hoping to continue my streak this week as well..hehe..fingers crossed :P

In UK, if you were the "Employee of the Week"...you'd be honoured with a bottle of champagne (not sure what type of champagne) I suppose I should have got 2 bottles of champagne by now...

Anyway, 4 days off!!! Timely for holiday or vacation huh...too bad as I have another obligation...teda orang mahu jaga ayam sama kambing nanti ba...haha...as usual, any day off would be a chance for me to do some house chores then followed by relaxation....relaxation would not feel good without DVDs!!!! I bought couple more DVDs and DVD holders yesterday...I've watched 4 out of 14 DVDs up 'till 2am today...

Above was taken whilst cleaning my room yesterday....some of my DVD collections and I'm happy to see how many I have collected and stored safely (currently over 800 DVDs.....RULE: No DVD can go out of my house...sorry kedekut sikit kama rather than getting mad when someone borrows but they don't take care of my precious nicely) I couldn't really remember when I started to be fussy about DVD's quality (picture, audio and subtitle) but since then I never buy DVD if the shop-owner-kinda-friend to me says it's not 100% (100% indicates it's a copy of an original DVD, more or less to that standard)

According to Welism....
1. Women for sex, love companion and satisfaction
2. DVDs for relaxation
3. Sleep for energy
4. Foods for nutrients, health and energy
5. Beers for fun and enjoyment (universal ba ni..hehe)
6. Love for happiness
7. Marriage for future generation and life companion
8. Shopping for self rewarding
9. Money for needs and exploration

Reflections

How many times have you heard people telling you, either direct or indirectly that you're cute?

Well, kambang juga la buntut sama lubang hidung bila kana cakap macam itu kan...kalau masa lubang hidung kambang mengambang...automatis buli masuk coin 10 sen terus....hahaha...

It would be one of the nicest compliment you might want to hear but what IF...it comes from...not the opposite sex...instead from the same sex?????? women might find this fine but men??? It happened couple of times (from men and "lady boy") but from someone who you have just met (few days ago)..is that really alright as an introduction?

How would you feel about it?
A. Over the moon
B. Flatter
C. Embarrased
D. Grateful
E. Happy
F. Humble
G. Hysterical
H. Blush
I. Joyful
J. Sexy
K. Suspicous
L. Kambang Lubang Hidung

I'd be grateful, humble and happy....and a little suspicous...haha..but most of the time I'd just ignore...haha...

10 things about Husky

1. He likes cold beer

2. He likes ice-cream

3. He likes leg-humping (only certain people would get this special treat)

4. He likes to be pampered (but once he's into the groove...you wouldn't want to be playing with him due to his aggressiveness...)

5. He likes to play with water (I found it silly and stupid when he kasi tumpah air minum sendiri then kehausan..bengong bengong)

6. He likes to play with anything he could possibly reach and anything means everything (Jew and Joel have become his victim)

7. He likes to follow you around as if you always have food for him

8. He likes to mem'block' your path especially in the kitchen (due to no.7)

9. He doesn't like x rated movie

10. He doesn't like cigarette

He's my playmate...he doesn't care who you are and what are you..to him everyone is friend to him...

Rambling

Honestly I loved her so much as much as I love my life.....

Why can't she understands and why can't she thinks about it..

It's all about commitment and that's it...

what else can I say....

You're in a relationship and you should work things out rather than taking all the opportunity of going out with others then once someone asks, don't you have a boyfriend/girlfriend?....you answered 'just kawan ba..'

it's very intriguing and very stupid....

Listen girl/boy.....appreciate what you have before it is too late...
