Early in the morning, whilst I was having my break first at some Nasi Kandar restaurant..I had roti canai telur and a cup of teh tarik..I heard people around me talking about fuel price going up..expected to start in August la..still rumors say it will start today at midnight..
Lunch break..again..the same story.. this time 8 out of 10 people around me talked about it..however, it was a little different though..it is going up for sure at midnight today..so when I returned to office, I had a small chat about it with my colleagues..the main question is what can we do about?
At around 3:40pm I left the office and straight went home..surfed online news then found out it is now been confirmed?!! I was mad but at the same time...I asked myself..what can I do about it...stop using fuel and buy a bicycle?....stop buying fuel and just leave my precious Ferari parked at home?....stop at fuel station to buy cigarettes instead of fuel?..migrate to another country that does not increase the fuel price?...stop working and stay at home until the fuel price go down?...so..what is the verdict here?..which should I go for? Any other options?..please help me...as I can't think of any reason why people so mad but at the same time knew that they can not do anything about it....you're only making your life miserable thinking about it and still couldn't do nothing...When I was surfing some of the blogs I had in my bookmark list, I was hoping for at least some positive view of this incident.. none of us are happy with the decision made..I can assure you that..I also got mad what..but getting mad without thinking of tackling this issue would not help..low income workers (like me la..) know that this would brings another burden into their monthly financial budget..so we should think more on tackling this matter from within rather than complaining and whining.....I don't care if you guys would agree with me but it has never occurred to me....I am bad..(not quite effective to be exact due to satisfaction matter)...in money management sometimes...but it is the only way and the one solution I shall start doing from now on.....I have to be more strict on how I spend my money..more or less.. I have to sacrifice my DVD's budget as well..I don't have a budget for buying DVDs actually but sometimes I went far beyond imagination...sometimes it can go over RM150 in a month for DVDs? How many DVDs I have currently with that amount spent on? you do the calculation if the price of a single DVD is around RM5 - RM7....and I've started spending that kinda amount since 2 years ago..also I still need to enjoy but in a moderate way probably after this..kurang la uncle Carls lepas ni...
So back to the fuel thingy..."Malaysia is a net oil exporter and gains from high oil prices, reaping 250 million ringgit, or $77.6 million, a year in revenue for every $1 increase in crude prices" quoted from Herald Tribune ...a question also an issue could be raised from this statement....which had been debated by the opposition during the recent general election..
Can this affects our economy and sociology? Although the rise in fuel prices (petrol and diesel) will reduce the government's subsidies and help the government manage its budget deficit, the government should also be prudent in managing rising inflation expectations..we are likely to save more and this will slow down spending and may lead to a double whammy in the economy..as I said earlier..lot of people are angry but they feel helpless so I think in near time soon, some of this angry group would ask or seek other..opposition la apa lagi....to demonstrate to show their unhappiness to the government..then again..it may lead to..chaos!!! Will a man from the future..say like 2020..travels through time to save Malaysia from being destroyed by its own government like the Terminator.....

i have been scouring in the net also to find any positive comments about this particular event, especially the part about the govt giving rebate cash of rm 625 per year upon renewal. would there be any counter effect there,as in pay high petrol price and at the same time given a rebate for it. but then how much only the rebate per month. rm52 rite. quite a lot juga la tu. so for example, rm 80 for full tank, suddenly shoot up to rm100 now. 100-52=48. isn't that ok??
somehow there are talks to lower the road tax. i mean there should be positive reviews on that rite?

let's just hope that the upcoming petrol protest in KLCC on july 12 will not materialise.
people should timbang all aspects first rather than distrupt peace like this.

hi there..edna..??hehe..well..we've seen another counter attack made by the gov today..isn't that great..it actually shed some light to low income earner..like me..regards to fuel price..am hoping this would help reduce the global warming problem..am not agreeing on the hike..against it?perhaps but I think there more to come..we should use start using horses and bicycle again..
wah..i didn't know about that rebate..well..govt trying to reduce their sub budget by increasing the price....giving away money to rakyat is a great thing and we should have this started earlier..rather being diplomatic to others by providing monetary aid..help our own rakyat first la kan..hehe..
yeah..so what's going to happen next..we'll pray for the best...
It is not the matter of our car needed a fuel to run saja bah nie, everytime fuel price naik kan..every aspect in our life pun follow suit bah..when i say everything, it is everything..if you have family, lagi terasa tu..
agree la mama kadus..makin modern mesti la naik harga..maksud dia makin moden n makin bekembang la ba jg tu..if kita tdk affected by fuel munkin benda lain..then complain lg..haha..let say..kelapa sawit..malaysia exporter ni..affected jg..harga minyak masak naik pun complaint..haha..mau p makan luar mahal terus komplen..ahaha..bgs makan maggie guna air sja..haha..as my main objective posting this issue was to tell that how good we and how well we are..this things will happen at the end jg..and to tell people complaining but still helpless..not now but 5 yrs later ni benda jd jg....bukan 1 bil thn myk buli tahan..mcm jg benda lain..if not now..later..so complaining cuma kasi sakit kepala..hehe..relax..we not stupid to keep quite kan tp bising pun nothing jg dapat ubah...dunia semakin sempit..makin byk penduduk..key point dalam cerita kali ini..
