Personal Perception

Different people have different perception. One man's meat could be another man's poison. A couple bought a donkey from the market. On the way home, a boy commented, "Very stupid. Why neither of them ride on the donkey? " Upon hearing that, the husband let the wife ride on the donkey. He walked besides them. Later, an old man saw it and commented, "The husband is the head of family. How can the wife ride on the donkey while the husband is on foot?" Hearing this, the wife quickly got down and let the husband ride on the donkey.

...pura-pura kenen si donkey jalan-jalan di sana..wahaha..

Further on the way home, they met an old Lady. She commented, "How can the man ride on the donkey but let the wife walk. He is no gentleman." The husband thus quickly asked the wife to join him on the donkey. Then, they met a young man. He commented, "Poor donkey, how can you hold up the weight of two persons. They are cruel to you." Hearing that, the husband and wife immediately climbed down from the donkey and carried it on their shoulders.

It seems to be the only choice left. Later, on a narrow bridge, the donkey was frightened and struggled. They lost their balance and fell into the river. You can never have everyone praise you, nor will everyone condemn you. Never in the past, not at present, and never will be in the future.

Thus, do not be too bothered by others words if our conscience is clear..

Save me... save the "kio"

It's Manday! as how we pronounce it..or "hari satu" to most Sabahan...am I being infected hun laling?wahaha....I could barely remember that I rarely use the numbering method...upon listening to people saying "hari satu/dua/tiga/ampat/lima/anam/tujuh"..really amuse me yet interesting enough that Kadus hasn't got anywhere far..save the numbering method..save the kadus ka tu slogan dia....ha.ha..too much heroes suda ni....but really, I'm not writing this to make fun of them..it just so interesting, don't you agree? and I'm actually lost in between..pity ah..there's only one way to solve this..perhaps by marrying a fluent dusun woman....haha....the same thing happened when I moved back to Ranau years ago from Sandakan...I rarely heard people saying "kio" or even "kama"....they're mostly used at the end of bahasa-malaysia-kadus sentences....after a while in Ranau, I then gotten used to the "kio" and "kama" slang...well, in Sandakan..you could probably able to count how many times you would hear people saying these words kan.....even the use of "sia" or "sya" is not entirely supported.."aku" is more appropriate and I even sometimes I'd use "kita" or "kamu" referring to 2nd or 3rd individual...i.e.."kita mahu pigi mana..?"..another interesting/fun word is "pawaroot" as in power-root..thanks laling!

To be honest..my first encounter of real bahasa-malaysia-kadus was back in Matriculation...and I dont really have kadus friends back in Sandakan (i have one, a sino..his name was Harry..he has a chinese name which have a very tasty sound of "cha sia pau"..) well, you may have heard a lot about Sandakan and its community kan..so back in those days, the kadus community was seen and populated in certain area/spots only....

Thus, sometimes I may feel ashame of myself...well, I'm a pure dusun but I can't actualy speak my own language..pandai juga bah but not good enough for a conversation..I could possibly understand most of the words or even what people were saying to me...it just that I have to reply in bahasa-malaysia-dusun....kesian kan..at home we speak bahasa-malaysia-dusun...(my parents cakap dusun bila mau mengamuk sama kejajalan kami budak ada lah..haha..i.e..Adede tanak diti ka tu...haha..) I got used to dusun language in Tambunan..where my late grandmother wasn't able to speak in bahasa-malaysia-dusun..she could only speak dusun..sometimes french and spanish..ahaha..joking saja ba..sorry ah nek..LoL..she was a very strick person...kalau makan tidak kasi habis nasi or kasi sayang nasi (even padi bila masa mengatam jatuh beberapa biji saja..habis la kana ceramah starring...haha.) she will surely scold you! funny huh but years after, I then understood when seeing others..her presence was very influential in my life....well, my mum's relatives (mum is from tambunan) are mostly all fluent dusun speaker..they speak dusun as their main and daily language..macam sakap bahasa-malaysia-dusun la ba...

If only I could speak dusun....well I don't know actually if that would make a different but thinking about the future of Kadus..made me thinking of the Kadus language's fate...what would happen in 20 years time?...would we be able to hear people saying "kio" and etc? we could be the aboriginal in Sabah (North Borneo) but there could be a possibility of..the extinct of Kadus language...as far as I'm aware, we have a SR(J) Dusun somewhere along the Ranau-KK road...so,this could be a saviour for this unique and beloved language of Kadus...perhaps we should get marry to Kadus only...jadi yang ada hati mau cari lain tu..kasi cancel ah...especially yang betul-betul tidak tahu cakap kadus..wahahaha..

*cakap dusun masa minum tidak masuk record..sebab kebarangkalian untuk ajaran inda masuk sangat tinggi..wahaha...

out of story ni punya note....I missed 4d yesterday..I should have bought that number yesterday (7714 when I jokingly commented Mr San's post in his blog here)..darn it!! worst..even my plat no also out at 1st prize Magnum! I could have won more than RM2k for my beloved and nice plat no 1304....

Fully occupied..

Ring ring ring.telephone ring..ring ring ring telephone ring....(do you know that this is a song lyric?)

Hello..it is me you looking for....(also a song lyric)

Wel: Hello....(I was on the bed of roses..watching Smallville Season 8 Ep 2)
Joel: Wel, di mana ko ni.....?
Wel: Di ruma..napa?
Joel: Jadi macam? (it has a very deep meaning among us here..beer is on its way?)
Wel: Macam apa..(laughing..bottle of beers came into my mind already..LoL)
Joel: Kasi kawan sia pigi service kerita...jam 12:30 la ah..
Wel: Ok ba..datang saja p rumah..
Joel: Ba....

So that was where my day began....as per conversation he came around 12:30 pm..I was not ready..he.he..nothing to rush so...I took my time..had a discussion with him just to ensure..things going as planned...matters like what he needs to check and service...then his plan to buy a laptop...another plan to buy several new clothes...so, do you get the picture of my day today?Haha...

I drove the car to the nearest bank for money...went straight to a workshop..the first workshop I went looked alright but I saw there were several cars waiting...I then drove to another workshop....I left Mr Joel in the car, went out and met up with the tauke...asked if they can check and service the car right away..Yes! I then got back into the car and parked the car into the designated space....I then chatted with the tauke...told him what "me" wanted to check and change (the "me" is referring to Mr Joel)..at the end of the service check up, all seemed alright although Mr Joel was a little bit worried about the amount of money he's going to pay shortly after...the tauke was a quite nice person...he advised "me" of what should we put in the priority list...in relation to the "hiccup" sound..yes! there have an issue with the combustion and gears' rotation...it is going to be pricey for "me" to resolve that but..hey! this is the price for buying a second hand car..and "me" didn't actually check what's necessary....that is now included in the next to-do-list...changed battery...changed oil filter...changed motor oil...checked spark plugs...reserved the "hiccup" thing..reserved the air-condition gas..reserved the tires alignment..reserved the spring height..reserved the timing belt (this is going to be at the top list)..reserved the accessories ("me" wanted to change the player)...so basically he has lot more things to do in next couple of months...

Done with that..we then went to a nearby shop selling laptops...well, he's not going to use the laptop for any work purposes (at this moment) or for any software that require high specification in order to run better..after walking for about 1 hour..he then decided to buy a Compaq with a decent and reasonable prize of its quite good spec...he uses PC/laptop mostly for movie, music as well as internet..Mr Joel sold his newly (about 3 months) purchased PC couple of weeks ago...that's done...and we were both already tired...stopped at nearby stall and bought couple of BBQ chicken ribs sticks and water then headed straight home...that was tiring especially when you have to think for others..it's already tiring to think about yourself..no worries..he's my buddy and we love each other..we did not sleep together a'ight..I'm clean and my backside is only for my cute and sexy shit for once in a while...hahaha....or sometime for Mr Jew..wahahaaha...joking la..

That mostly me today...I can't wait to watch the qualifiation round of the F1 Night Race tonight!! Mr Joel plans to go out tonight..clubbing?Wahaha..sorry buddy, I'm not into that anymore...Church Street pub? well..that may work..so I might go out for a beer later tonight with my buddy, Mr Joel (sorry Claire..ko bilang mau datang...)...sorry Mr Jew..I can't join your trip to Key Hell..it's going to be tiring ba...12 hours in a car (go to KL and return to Penang)..then a couple of hours there watching PAKU (7 songs) playing on stage..that is so tiring and not very interesting...although we can drink there (we have a designated driver) but what's going to happen on our journey back to Penang...Ko buli la tidur dalam kerita..saya inda buli tidur dalam kerita..haha..next time a'ight!

Have a great weekend!

Friday 26 September 2008

Another blurry day..

Yay it's Friday! T.G.I.F?Yeah of course!....what the hell am I going to do today? Earlier today, I woke up at 6:42am...continued my sleep and woke up the second time at 7:58am..darn it! If I kept on sleeping..I might lost my mood the whole day because of the overslept thing..I can't sleep over my normal 4-6 hours a day..I can sleep less than that though..last night after returning from a short night out with Mr Joel...I watched my old DVD collection...the "Knocked Up"..I think it was the 3rd time...I slept at around, quarter pass 3am I guess...so no wonder I woke up this early..switched on my PC and checked my email...office email which I replied some that require a quick action...then tried looking for any interesting stuff to download...anime of course...none! then as usual, checking my blog...replied some comments..accepted a request then blog hopping..lompat si katak lompat p mengacau...then after wards, I started to think..what am I going to do today (again)? I've done almost all of my stuffs yesterday...I can wash my ride later on Sunday..I don't really like this feeling, you know....this is when I was always got beaten by the desire to buy DVDs...I am trying to not buy DVDs at this moment...I just hope if I go there, only movies that I'm currently looking for are available in good quality (100% copy of an original DVD) I guess I'm going out later to have my 3 meals a day lah ni..going to watch some of my DVDs collection before the DVD shop to open at around 2pm...

It's nice huh when you're so free doing nothing..writing your mind out helps you to decide several things in life...enjoy your day in office and happy working...HAPPY FRIDAY!

Turning point..

Hi peeps! Just got back from a short night out..wahaha..well..it was so sudden actually that my future-house-mate Mr Joel came to pay me a visit..what was the reason for a sudden visit? he had just bought a car..what model of car? It's a BMW5..darn it!the car is really well designed..wahaha...not quite right huh..he bought a Satria a.k.a Gti car..not a new one but a second hand..it doesn't matter though..so he just got his car 2 days ago.he was so excited (he should be after all the sacrifices he had made..) so he came to "his" house inviting me for a drink and a ride....we went to town (Church Street pub)..then chatted and drank couple of beers...it was timely as I was so free...on the way home..he gave me the key, asking my favour or advise about his car...I'm no expert or what so ever but I do know couple of stuffs (theory) for maintaining a good car..modifying car..tuning a car....so I guess, it does not hurt to share with him what should he do for a couple of days later or in future time..while checking its exterior, I realised that the car has a new paint on it (red)...exterior looks very nice..catchy huh!...well, if you talking about Satria..then the nearest brother is Satria Gti right..so it has almost the same look with all the skirting and tires...spoiler at the back..and a new paint!

I went in..ignited the engine and listened to its sound..not bad but there seems to be a slight issue when suddenly I heard the miss-fired or what so ever the expert would call it...sound nice but it does have a little "hiccup"...my first suspect in mind was its transition between the engine (combustion) and exhaust..could it be the muffler? I wouldn't know for sure but it does have something to look into...locked at 1st gear, pressed on the gas and lit the clutch slowly..found it! (clutch balance level) and it began to move..2nd then 3rd gear and so on...it runs well..interesting sound as it has a big blow-pipe behind..haha..big sporty exhaust, to be exact! rim is 14" with a 3" width tires..roughly, it could have a spec of 215/60R14 or 215/60/14 tires fitted on it..it was a random observation..need to look onto the tire for further details...As expected, it runs well but it does have a problem with its height..too low!!! I think the gap from the road surface to the car body is less than 5" and the tires' surface to the archers is less than 2"...its good that it doesn't feel so bouncy, I guess the suspension is working perfectly but it needs a little extra height..even a small bump, we can hear the squeaking sound of the tires touching the body..carefully, I drove the car until we reach the Jelutong Express way..its a 3 lanes express way with a speed limit of 80Kph (I went up to 90kph..over 10kph of road limit is considered as speeding! Tips!)...it runs smooth and stable so far but it lost its alignment..not to worry though because it's not that terrible..a little alignment will do....with 1.3 cc engine..it does run very well with a good gears' transition and power boost...it is a relieve for him....I'm always very attracted to any tuned engine and its power but it was not meant to be..the car does not have a tachometer for its RPM....so I can't really see how well the transition of each gears does or how smooth the rotatation is...no worries as it's not that important at this moment juga..as long as the car runs well and safe..that will do...he's moving with us next week..so we have 3 jejaka kegilaan wanita borneo di rumah..wahaha..betul ka tu Mr Jew..anda setuju? He actually asked me for another favour by helping him to send the car for a service but I said..better you go and see for yourself then learn...

For the record..Mr Joel is from Ranau...the house is now full of 3 jejaka Ranau..wahaha...it is his last day tomorrow (26th Sept) at his current company then a week break before he starts at a new company.....which he is required to have a car as part of his new job requirement...after this, you guys might read a lot more about these 3 jejaka kegilaan borneo..Wahaha..Cheers! All damn good drinker especially Mr Joel as he has a big and cute tummy that fits for a twin..

Shattered Dream..

Sick of this life
And not what you'd care
You're not the only one
Whom this feeling I share

Nobody understands,
quite why we're here
We're searchin' for answers
That never appear

But maybe if I looked real hard I'd
I'd see your tryin' too
To understand this life,
That we're all goin' through
(Then when she said she was
gonna like wreck my car...
I didn't know what to do)

Life is beautiful huh..yeah I bet but so sad, it's not that always beautiful as we would have dream of...I'm off today and tomorrow...for the record, I applied these 2 days off since months ago..well to be precise, applied for a purpose of my "shattered dream" to the F1 Night Race in Singapore..I had planned this since last year and made it very clear almost to all my dear friends that I really want to go...as per planned, everything went alright until the last couple of months..budget was totally disrupted..I'm not working as a Manager with a high salary bah...just enough to feed my hungry stomach and fill up my tummy with beers as well as enjoying my hobbies buying couple of DVDs during weekends..but that's that..I have been saving for this trip but due to some complication and unseen event..I had no choice..

See, how important money is to our life...perhaps, it's not that important or affecting 20 years ago when with your 20 penny, you could probably have a delicious amount of fried mee....but not this time around..saying money is not important is nor entirely correct..perhaps saying not affecting? Could that be the correct statement?

Most of my close friends knew that I'm quite a fan of Formula 1 race..I've always watched each races on TV (live..no delay programme please) perhaps due to my current work responsibility these days..I hardly forget when were the next races..what were the times etc...compared to last year and years before..it has always been a must programme for me to watch..I'd be willingly to wake up early morning or stay-up just to get a glimpse of the race especially the first 10 laps..I've been watching F1 races since 8 years ago..

Well..I can take a risk by going there and enjoy my trip to the Lion Country but I don't know what would happen once I come back..you know la if we go to a new place...we would not want to have the feeling of.."wah siok oh tu na kan...cantik o tu na kan..then thinking...inda mau la..nanti habis duit saya...(ignore and walk away)"..having said that, I'm now letting my happiness takes over my satisfaction...I'm happy that I don't have to help spoiling my financial budget but I'm not satisfy that I'm unable to fulfill my dreams...talking to myself..there's always next time...probably next year then..I'll pass this time...

So! what am I going to do with these 2 days off? I still have 9 (+1 is reserved) holidays left...give me money or sponsor me..I'll certainly enjoy them without hesitation! Since I'm so free, these will do then...update my blog..blog hopping...clean the house..(Mr Jew..kitchen is yours ah..)..clean my room...wash my ride...wait! hold on..If I do them all today..what am I going to do tomorrow and weekend pula..I'm going to be alone at home (come with beers if you dare..) this weekend kan Mr Jew..PAKU is going to the Gossip event in Key Hell to perform..send my regards to Jason Lo and Hannah Tan ah Mr Jew..haha...So, I think I'll need to re-organize the plan for today..I've utilized 5 hours of my day off today by getting a nice rest/sleep....so I still have around 12-18 hours to go..ahaha...how la mau rest kalu ada tu perasaan mau fully use 24 hours..alright guys..enjoy your day in office..and happy working!

*Anybody recognize the above song..its my old time favourite..love the lyrics

My favourite "Heroes" is back

#1 in U.S
#1 in France
#1 in Germany
# Highest rated in Japan - the highest in history
# The most watched TV Series in the world
# Voted the most unpredictable TV Series
# Voted the most phenomenon TV Series ever made

It all began with one question..."do you ever get the feeling...like you were meant to do something extraordinary?.."

What else can you ask for? You missed the Seasons 1 and 2? No worries, the season premier of the long awaited Season 3 will start with 30 minutes of casts' flash back (down to memory lane)....after waiting for a year and the grueling issue on writers strike in the State...it came back with another massive boom-bang to all Heroes fans all over the world..for the record, the Season 1 was released on 25th Sept 2006..then came the Season 3 which was released on 23rd Sept 2008...nicely planned!

I'm always a fan of TV series but frankly speaking...watching Heroes is more and much fun compared to others...as per the list above...it was voted as the most unpredictable TV Series! From 1 episode to next episodes..waiting is almost unbearable...that's how fun and entertaining is the Heroes series...

I've watched the Season 3 premier..and currently waiting the first 2 episodes of Season 3 on my P2P down loader to finish (Torrent) ....these 2 episodes were aired during the Season 3 premier as a bonus to a long wait (2 hours duration)..I don't know what to expect but Heroes has never let me down since it was first aired 2 years ago...

Look forward to see what Heroes Season 3 has to offer!

Save the cheerleader (beer), save the world

Shocking Truth

I was tagged by Madpie@Adora earlier yesterday for this so call facts tag...Sorry ah Madpie..delay sikit, I had to finish some of my debts yesterday bah...A'ight, shall we?

Rules
1. Link to your tagger and post these rules on your blog (Done!)
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird (Done!)
[Continue at the bottom..]

Here we go....These are the facts and weird facts about myself or my life if you may call it..

1. I dislike peanut..I can eat but the possibility to eat peanut is not less than 98% [Fact]

2. I hate the English Subject since Primary 1..still, English teachers in every Primary-Secondary schools I was in, made me as a "victim" to their daily lessons...anak cikgu kenen so, mesti pandai meng"inggeris"...I was stubborn and stood firm enough to the hate thing until Matriculation....now, I ended up working with British based company that requires me to improve, learn and most importantly speak standard/better English..Manglish is not encouraged in Penang office as well..except when the Manager is not around..he.he.. [Weird Fact]

3. I was born in Ranau but grew up in Sandakan...stayed there from Primary 3 to Form 5 [Fact]

4. I don't like to drink (and I don't drink) plain water (exception for cold mineral water)..this one most of you already knew in my previous post..[Weird Fact]

5. I'm not fond to this type of people.....you call yourself "orang kampung" but so many things about you, tells me that you are no near to "orang kampung" who is known to be very "free" to many kind of foods..sorry ah manatau ada yang macam ni tapi kebenaran mesti di tegakkan..I was raised in a rural+urban environment and still, I was taught by my mother not be fussy about food...I love kampung style delicacy i.e pucuk ubi and paku pakis.....I've met several "orang kampung" in my life who can't or don't want to eat the food that I'm able to eat...that's making me sick! I'm the one who should have complaint not "orang kampung"....so better be careful of what you're saying to people..why so serious?Wahaha..mesti mahu serius ni..."standard" orang kampung sudah tercemar bah kalau semua orang macam ini..so far I can eat any food that's been given to me...except peanut! [Fact]

6. I had a very weird crush with my own relative when I was in Secondary school..my female cousin looks like my ex (at that time she was not ex yet)..since she was younger than me..so, she was shy to tell me that she likes me...instead, she asked my brother to let me know of her sweet desire to know me better and more..wahaha...coincidentally, I was attracted to her..well I couldn't just ignore her with that 'twin' thing..it became more weird when the meeting was actually happened during the gathering of my grandmother's death...I still remember, my untie figured something fishy between the both of us....you know la bila budak mau mula besinta kan..she advised me "NO"..she's my close relative and it is so wrong..until now I've never saw her again and that was the first time I met her..sinta terhalang..wahaha..[Weird Fact]

7. I have never gone over 75 Kg in my life..the heaviest was 72 Kg and it happened only once in my entire life (so far lah)..I was once very "slim" with 53 Kg compared to my height of 171 cm..well, I have a quite high metabolisme and been maintaining my fitness at that time....[Fact]

I'm in a good mood today, so I'm not going to pass this facts tag to anybody..if you like it and think you're able to contribute..please do so and I'd be happy to read as well as comment...

PAKU (has returned)

Last night..PAKU played at The Habana, Kristal Point, Penang. A newly open bistro-pub 2-3 weeks ago. At the ground floor, it is entirely a Cafe selling/serving pasta, pizza etc and the 2nd floor is a place where you can have a drink as you would in any normal pub ranging from beer to wine..it has a wine room that been setup to an optimum temperature for wine restoration (13 degrees?)..since it is a new place so I guess I would not want to miss the opportunity to come and have a look (survey) ...you can go to the 2nd floor either by the stair through the Cafe or a lift...once you enter the door/entrance (2nd floor), you'll see a wide window at the far front where you can see the main road..the view is quite nice (cars moving in 2 directions)..I wish it has a balcony or any of that kind...it may look nicer and more relaxing to be able to enjoy the night breeze with couple of cold beers...chatting whilst listening to live-band-music or DJ's...the owner is a fan to PAKU and he's been kind enough to give PAKU the honour to be the first band to play at his place...sepa nama dia tu Mr Jew..Mr.Derick? He was the ex-co-owner of another pub called Frenz but due to some complication..he withdrew himself then opened this new place..

PAKU hasn't been to any gig for over a month due to the departure of Riz (lead guitarist with the straw hat or sometimes cowboy hat) to the US...He has just returned and now they're going to get busy again..with lot of gig/invitations..well they're celebrity bah..tapi bila kau mau kasi mandi saya beer ni Mr Jew?haha...so after resting for over a month..it is timely for them to warm up and get things done before their 2nd album that was said to be released early next year.....any of you that would like to buy their original with autographs on it..do let me know..haha..so I can get more bottles from Mr Jew..

After resting for over 2 weeks..I had a drink again last night...not many but good enough for an old man like me..wahaha..I drank 7 bottles then another 1 bottle was a consolation for "I'm with the band"..haha..thanks Jew..cuba ko kasi tu stout masa saya baru sampai..inda payah ko paksa..sendiri pigi ambil.haha...the above picture was taken using my mobile..sorry that Ms Leena and Mr Jew were not seen in the picture..at the bottom is the flier for their up-coming gig, a charity event organised by Gossip..so whoever (especially Sabahan) that interested knowing this band up-close..perhaps a fan to Mr Jew...haha..come and meet them..a reminder, this band is "logop-band"...especially Mr Jew..so bring along lot of moneys..haha..

According to Izwan (the vocalist), these are the celebrities/artists that will take part in this charity event...(referred to his bulletin in FS)

Ticket price: RM 5.00 *100% ticket sales shall be channeled to charity
*.
Artists Line-up: Hannah Tan | Suki Low | Jason Lo | PAKU | One Buck Short | Juwita Suwito | Shila | Ayu | Ady Suwardy | Danny Koo | Chervie Ho | Jyin Poh | Serene Cheam | Zax Lee | Bittersweet | Army Of Three | Free To Fall

Proximity..

Thanks to Ornest/Oiga for his kindness to award me a Proximity Award.. proximity?? Again asking myself...what proximity has to do with an award? Do we get an award for proximity act?ahaha..I don't really care though and I do really appreciate this award..it is not easy bah mau menang award ni..kalau la ada menang award voucher percutian atau cash money..lagi best..

Alright, firstly..the award is actually written in Portuguese..I tried Italian, Spanish and French..still, I was left with the word "PROXIMIDADE"..then tried Portuguese-English..Yes! So, here is the actual translation of what is written on the picture below

"Este Blog investe e acredita na....PROXIMIDADE"
"This blog invests and believes in....PROXIMITY"

The award came with this remark..I wonder....

"They all are charmed with the blogs, where in the majority of its aims are to show the marvels and to do friendship; there are persons who are not interested when we give them a prize and then they help to cut these bows; do we want that they are cut or that they propagate? Then let’s try to give more attention to them! So with this prize we must deliver it to 8 bloggers that in turn must make the same thing and put this text."

Due to the fact that many of my fellow bloggers have received this and posted on their blogs...so I'd like to share this award (instead of passing..who hasn't they're welcome to post then...) with these 8 bloggers for their proximity efforts, proximity acts as well as proximity thoughts..glad that we're given the chance to get to know each other..Cheers to that!

Mell, Kuai, San, Sweetie, Reno, XigorX, Andrik, JerryInc, KadusMama, UrangRanau (Joy), Ornest (again), Bobby, Ned, Madpie and many more in the sidebar at the right hand side...did I say 8 bloggers? well, since I'm going to share this so I don't really mind or care about the number..God bless you all....

If only I were..

Is this a vanity entry?aha....nuh..I was just playing and trying to feed my curiosity out of the pictures I saw in my dear friend Ms. Flo (sorry..some may not able to view her blog..limited access by invitation) and earlier by fellow blogger XigorX..well if you go to Yearbook, there have a range of years from 1950 to 2000...it would be great if it can make up to 2020 kan...perhaps they're unable to predict and nor imagine what would it be like to live in 2020...what would be the style pula kan...perhaps a punk-trash-grunge-metal-emo style? I wouldn't know but I have the feeling that this kinda style or attire could outclass the others...we'll have to wait and see...heee..at present, this kinda style has became the most likeable among teen-adult...I must say, at some point..it all due to music-life-cycle trend....

I was wondering how would I look like if I were (adult) to live in the early years....these could be me...

Year 1954 (I almost look like my father la with this hair style...wahhhh)
Year 1956
Year 1968
Year 1982 ( I was 2 year-old in this year)

Inspiring theory...

Have you ever heard of Robert Kiyosaki? Honestly I’d seen his books in many major book stores but I never had the chance to really spend time reading it or buying it…they’re not cheap......We tend to buy books that are more interesting and enjoyable for reading…fiction, novel and adventurous are the kind of books that always win the heart of most readers…Perhaps most of you have already heard or read some of his books…This is one of the actual audio for one of his best selling book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”…I got this audio file back in 2006 and I’m saving it as it was very inspiring when I first listened to it… I’ve listened to the audio file more than 5 times….

I don’t know and care of what you may think (of the audio file) once you’ve heard his speech/theory but I’d like to share my appreciation to his inspiring theory by sharing the audio file with you…

There are 3 audio files (3 separated files)…at this moment, I can only upload one of the file as I’m doing this from office…just for the record, we are not allowed to access internet for personal purposes…..especially things like this…if the webs that we are accessing are related to our line of work then that may not be a problem...exception for online banking though…I’ll upload the other 2 files next time a’ight…

Options to download..

Guilty as charged..

So, how you doing?.....to Sabahan people, Happpy Malaysia Day! (yesterday)

Perhaps not many of you know that I'm not entitled to any Malaysian Public Holiday..how weird is that? Our office is in Penang, Malaysia but I'm not entitled to any of the Malaysian Public Holiday...so how on earth I have 25 days of leave per annum? Well, just want to tell that I'm working right at this very moment when most of my friends...holidaying at home...kau off juga ka Mr.Jew? Patut la ko p mogs semalam kan..cis...

OK..I'm alone in the office today and I'm hungry..the mamak stall down there is closed..both developers are off as well..I'm waiting a reply from a customer in Oz in relation to his problem which I requested for a remote in permission to have a look..I have done most of my task earlier today....which is great because I can concentrate on my own thing..to my own mind..not need to consult and guiding developers with their works...

Right..guilty as charged? well..I came in today and checked my emails......I got an email from our CRM Manager asking my view point of the call list sent over by my successor/junior....if only the email was sent to me alone I could possibly cover her mistake or wrong doing..unfortunately the email was also sent to the TD and M'sia Manager...so I was left with no choice that I need to go through each of the calls in our database...then sadly, I found several of the calls were not as mentioned in her list...for example

"Call ID #12345 (updated), Time: 15:33, Apprx Duration: 3.21 minutes"

The word "Updated" means either call-in by customer or call-out to customer. I have lots of call-out mostly due to development work. I would expect to see the call progress been updated around the said time above with its details..however, I couldn't find any and the call was not even dealt by her....nor have her record in there....

So..I really felt guilty but there's no other option other than sharing my findings to them...If I didn't mention that to them, they might have a negative thought towards me..either the CRM Manager or M'sia Manager will actually double check each of the call...usually its the M'sia Manager and at some point he will seek further details of any calls...

After replying the email, I then sent another email to my colleague to mention this to her and advised to re-check her call list...hopefully she didn't intentionaly add the extra calls in her list...well last night alone, according to the emails from my CRM Manager..there were 73 calls answered in UK Support Team..then my successor pula she answered 23 calls..after a deduction from my finding she answered 17 calls...how scary is that if she is accused of her wrong doing..hopefully not..we're lack of staff (Penang) and I've been through the rocky road where I was the only person (available) rotating the shift in Malaysia for a couple of months providing support and consultation to customers between UK-Oz....That was when I opted to ignore my holiday leave and since then..it changed my career in this company..I stop thinking of holiday..reduced the worry for pay rise then concentrate more into performance/improvement..at the end of last year..I was told by our TD and M'sia Manager..the company considers me as an asset to the Penang Office and indirectly to the company itself....nowadays, most internal issues were shared with me...month after weeks..I step forward to contribute in making a decision either in Management or Development...

To my colleague..really hope everthing will be fine....sometimes, I'm not really fond of her attitude....whenever she felt stressed and pressured..she starts whining to look for another job....apa ko bilang tu sweetie..once we give up then it's over...the ultimate/biggest failure ka tu...but we should know when to give up juga ba...I did help her a little bit by sharing my thought what may the reason of her entering a wrong Call ID etc....

Life or Live on...

Weeks after week...life is getting busier than before...I know why and I don't want to complaint nor whining about that because I know it's a valuable experience in future time..I'm only a servant but at the same time I'm also the senior among others...I have to take care almost everything in the office..to be exact..I'm the acting Manager in the absence of my Manager..well he'll be back in October along with the Tech Director to conduct another interview session...we're expanding a'ight...

At first, I didn't even realize that when he took off (to UK) in July but weeks after week...especially in the past 3 weeks..I'm sort of losing balance..I really need a rest...I'm not feeling any stress nor tension, it just that my mind is so so tired...not my body or soul though..I can imagine that my mind (brain) is running almost 20/7 these days..I have to think, observe, analysis and execute the final result...these couple of weeks..although it was weekends..I still have to catch up with office stuff...I have to catch up with my team and during weekdays..I have to catch up on everything especially colleagues that needing help in consultation or office matters...I'm doing 4 responsibilities at a time....customer consultation, development, acting manager and a senior to my colleagues...they're fun sometimes but there were times when you think this is too much....thankfully I'm still able and managed to cope with these responsibilities...thanks to my patience and rationality..I handle or think things in a logical way possible..so it helps me a lot in making decision...

I really need a break...I still have a balance of 9 days off this year..I haven't had any plan but I may use them soon enough..nearest holiday I have would be on 25 & 26 Sept...which is in 2 weeks time...I have never applied sick leave nor emergency leave this year..actually I only had them like...1 for sick leave and 1 for emergency leave...since working for this company over 2 years ago...at the end of October 2008, it's already 3 years....I'm expecting another increment later that month as we would have an appraisal early this October...looking forward to that....perhaps another turning point in my career...*cross finger*

I'm giving this post a title of "Life or Live on.." because sometimes I think it is our natural life perspective that we need to work to earn money or work hard to achieve something but at some other time..it could be just a 'thing' that we have to live on with what so ever we have in order to continue our life..more likely as surviving pula.....I really need a break and think of my life in another different perspective...I'm going in the right path but perhaps I may need to revalute my life...

Awarded and Awarding

OK..OK..sorry ba..ada delay sikit...so, these were the dates where the Award Ceremonies took place..mesti si sweetie komplen panjang ni...

4th Sept 2008 - KadusMama has awarded me the "Brilliante Weblog Award"
5th Sept 2008 - Ornest has awarded me the "Kreative Blogger Award"
5th Sept 2008 - Mell has awarded me..both the awards of "Brilliante Weblog" and "Kreative Blogger" Awards
Firstly..thanks and I'm honored to receive these awards...However, I can't seem to find any resemblance or requirement at each of these awards that suit me well...there is no clear indicator nor criteria required for these awards being passed through to each of the lucky blogger....so perhaps it just a natural cause that made us thinking she or he deserves to receive the awards kan...

As per Brilliante Weblog Awards..I must say..this is far off my reach and capability la betul-betul.he.he..I'm not even brilliant nor genius in my writing or commenting other bloggers' posts...I'm not even giving out good nor cleaver message when blogging...perhaps some but not that strong enough to attract people to share their life-experience story or their thoughts that relevant to mine...yet, I'm grateful that I have lot of fellow bloggers and some non-bloggers as well..that keep on coming for a short or long visit and share their life with me...cheers to the that!

How on earth la saya dapat ini Kreative Blogger Award?..ha..ha..At Ornest's Award Ceremony, he gave a brief comment on why I could be one of the recipient to this award..

"Wel - Creative posts and comments" - quoted from Ornest

Still..macam mana buli ada comment yang creative Ornest?Ha..ha..I was placed at no. 1!!!..Ha..ha..I'm flattered but I can't accept this now Ornest..tidak cukup duit syiling sia mau belanja ko minum teh ice..ha.ha..Who's not going to accept he/she wins an award kan..he.he..

Why so serious??Huh...I was trying to think on how and why..for some reason I was selected for this..I'm not handsome..I'm not rich..I'm not cool..I'm not creative..far from being brilliant.ha.ha..if only I receive an award in the right category macam...drunken blogger..I may have to go out again to have a drink..motivation ba tu.ha..ha..but still...I'm happy to receive these awards and been looking at my list of blogs at the far right...I need to be a fair judge....7 out of >40 bloggers? Actually I'll look on those who have been kind with their visitation to my blog...first I need to make sure..these bloggers are active enough to update their blog from time to time...posting good message and beneficial thing for our mind to bring out the best in us to comment or reconsider....I may have to distribute these awards to some who had received them from others because they deserve credits for what they have been doing in their blogs...

A'ight, these are the bloggers of whom I'd like to credit in their works..Its their decision if they think there are others should be given the awards later onwards..

1. KadusMama - she's always been inspiring by sharing her life-experience as a mum to her naughty-but-cute kids..not to mention how she puts her mind into blogging over sponsored topics, yet sending a message to us of such info..a modern version of mother...

2. UrangRanau - she seems quite nice and quite open to many ideas..she's willing to share ups and downs of her life made me thinking of she as a decent girl with a big heart..seh..jan ko kambang kama UrangRanau..her story-telling skill is improving since the last time (she's more open ba kali tu..) and how she emerged from a down-time to a place where she could find peace..betul ka ni Joy..he.he..she's creative in her ways...

3. JerryInc - He or she ni?Ha..ha...He's one hell of a drinker or boozer ka tu Jerry?ha..ha...how exactly he inspired me?..well, by his style in writing and his posts..he's the kind of guy who's not shy nor being a hypocrite..he's willing to commit his mistakes and he thinks of himself as a die-hard-core-boozer....well he really does!!!! he's the kind of guy of whom you'd love to have when going out for a drink..sebab dia suka belanja dia bilang..ha.ha..another good thing, he's good in writing a story-poet-type post..fun to read and very thoughtful......he.he..banyak la saya kana belanja ni..he.he..

4. Mell F - Yay mell!..she's pretty? entah la!..she's cute? Betul ba!..She wore a coloured bra? That's a fact kan Mell and I have to agree la..he.he..what about her blog or the person herself that I think she deserves this? She's a chat-box spammer with creative spams!!! that's one hell of a skill!!! I like her blog template..simple yet peaceful..good for eyes (hijau)..prefers simple post but still awful-fun entertaining..creativity..

5. Kuai Kuai - Looks like she has found her new love...she's into picture pula...although I'm not really into pictures but I found her blog quite creative in her own-brilliant-mind...she's not just a typical blogger who would blog about pictures with some tag-line located next/bottom/top of each pictures (well sometimes she does but that's hers)... she's sharing her own fun-life-style aided with pictures..cool huh..creative juga tu..

6. Impedius - He's writing about movies! that's the thing that I really like about his blog...I love movies and viewing his blog means an early review/synopsis of current or latest movies on theater..Sometimes, I really wonder how he could maintain his blog writing about movies with relevant details..I'm sure he loves movies as well...keep on doing you thing!

7. Fie - She's absolutely pretty! I must say..he.he...she's quite creative in her writing/post..She was once appeared in the widget of Advertlets for her witty blog..her whining and dissatisfaction over political issues in Malaysia and other stuff really inspiring..although sometimes she seems gone over the edge..but that's what make her blog so nice to read...some might have their own views in relation to her post yet some might have their similarity to her views..cheers to your honesty in blogging!

Others whom I think deserve these awards would be FloC (Limited Access by Invitation), Andrik, Bobby, XigorX, Reno and many more...sorry I can't go on with the reason and explanation to why and what...

Have a great weekend!

“Pecah Penjara” is back

After almost a year waiting and waiting..at last…PB starts its 4th season!! I really have no idea what to expect in this latest season but I really hope its not another slow-boring-story-telling as in the 3rd season..still, the 1st is always the best….betul ka ni 1st always the best..hu.hu

As per rumors..yeah..Sara is alive…pity Michael if Sara is really dead…belum lagi ter’chance’ dating pun..he.he..that means Sara and Michael are reunited..Yeas and not only them..Michael and Lincoln are reunited with Mahone, Bellick and Sucre as well…many says that in the 4th season, the story would be totally different than the other…well as I have read several of the synopsis for the latest season..I must say..they could be right and I can’t seem to find a good reason to why so sudden that they work together as a team to retrieve a computer card with valuable information to the the homeland security agent they’re dealing with this time…well they are actually being put under scrutiny observation by the Government for a deal that none of them couldn’t agree more.. freedom for life or painful death in return if they pull this off.

Shocking news..in this latest season, Michael is said to undergo treatments to remove his tattoos and refuses pain medication for it?wow!…his tattoo was once the main attraction in the 1st season, I have to admit...not only the design was so great but also his designated path embeded in it was so artistic...as we speak, I’m currently downloading the 1stand 2nd episodes….

Wenworth Miller or mostly known as Michael Schofield is GAY? People are talking about this out there..not Malaysia but in the State la..however, he doesn't seem to care or mind about the rumors and had clarified saying he’s not gay…

Maybe most of you never knew that he’s part African American+Jamaican+English+German+French+Dutch+Syrian and Lebanese…I’m not really sure myself but that’s what I’ve read about him…Cool huh…macam mana la dia buli jadi rojak ni..ha.ha..

Looking forward to watch PB!
