Freestyle Friday..

Happy Friday Chaps!

Couple of minutes ago...I have just finished watching one of my old time favourite movie...Wyatt Earp..earlier before that, I was working on a New Year 2009 layout for my blog..I spent around 3 hours trying to customize the layout up to my liking..I'm almost there..mostly all basic stuffs i.e. colours, font, structure for 3 columns template...I have not decided yet as I have another 2 columns template that I've kept for a while...well, it is too early to tell which template I would go for the year 2009...I will be applying the same concept though as the current template that is simple...hehe...

It is already Friday and I don't have any particular activity to do today...paling betul, I don't know what to do today...I applied leave purposely untuk mengasi habis cuti yang berlebihan...Yesterday evening, after I got back from my friend's place, checked and troubleshoot his laptop.......I cleaned up the territory as well as bathing our new puppy, a Siberian Husky...I don't know what had gotten into him yesterday..he was so hyper; running from there to here and around the house...one minute he disappeared and when checked he was already gone upstairs...siapa la yang ajar dia ni..another minute he disappeared then suddenly ran at me as if he didn't see me at all and hit my leg then tergulik gulik...stuntdog ka apa dia pikir buat macam tu..haha....bongok punya anjing...haha...well, the puppy was given by Mr Jew's colleague....oh ya..our previous dog (biggy) I mentioned months ago that was missing..is now back..he was missing for almost 3 weeks if not mistaken and he was so skinny when he balik "nangis" minta makan...siapa suruh bersosial tidak mahu ingat rumah..haha...I believe he has tasted the life of being a male dog..haha...I dont know how many but I'm sure he would prefer to stay with us where he can get free food everyday rather than whoring around the housing area still have to find his everyday meal...haha...

Macam mana la mau tidur ni...now rasa lapar pula...huhu..I think I'll go out for a breakfast and try to sleep la..a'ight peeps...have a great day and enjoy your eve to weekend..Cheers!

BECK - Mongolian Chop Squad

Yeye...I finally finished watching this anime…there are 26 episodes…I’d say it is quite entertaining watching this anime…it has nothing to do with the famous band BECK in the State..hehe..

Yukio Tanaka or mostly known to his friends as Koyuki, is just an ordinary junior high school boy until he saves an odd-looking dog named BECK from some kids. Beck’s owner turns out to be an emerging rock musician, a genius guitarist Ryusuke Minami (character is based on Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page and sometimes as Tom Morello) who soon influences Koyuki to start playing the guitar and recruited into BECK, playing second guitar and singing slower song… his entire life change onwards…

The story focuses on the trial and journey of their punk and rap-core band named BECK and the relationship between Koyuki and Ryusuke’s sister, Maho…

This anime contains many references (tribute) to classic rock and pop culture. There’s a particular scene of dream sequence that features various deceased rock idols such as Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon and Freddie Mercury picking up garbage…there also one major band, Dying Breed (US Band) where Eddie (guitarist for DyBreed) is a friend to Ryusuke…having said that, the anime uses both language Japan and English…Ryusuke and Maho were in the State for quite a while and most of their conversation is in English…after so many obstacles of trying to be a known band in Japan, they managed to get a tour in the US…Koyuki become the back bone to BECK when he writes and sings his own English song (Slip Out) which is acclaimed by Ryusuke as a master piece for the future of BECK..

* BECK is their commercial name used in Japan and Mongolian Chop Squad in US

Access anywhere...

Firstly of all…I’ll need to clarify that I’m no expert in anything relates to IT but I do know bit by bit about it…still this is something worth sharing and I’m sure most IT guys would like this…hehe…this is a platform that I’ve been using for almost a year to help my friends (Sabah and Peninsular) and sometimes customers (Standalone machine not Server) to resolve their problem regards to computer thingy..To use this platform, you’ll need to have an internet connection (up and running)…duh..macam mana mau access kalau teda internet..huhu...then go to this website www.ShowMyPC.com

Both ends need to go to that website (first time run) and once you’ve loaded the page...I would recommend (future use) both ends to download the application by performing a single-left click on the “Show My PC to Remote User” or “View Remote User’s PC”…well both applications are the same actually..so either one will do…if you don’t want to download you’re still able to use the application by selecting “Run” instead of “Save” when prompted

Once the application is ready and running, you will get a screen as below

The person who’s requesting another person to remote in to that machine will need to click on the “Show My PC Now” button and wait until it generates a “Share Password” as shown in the picture below. This person will need to let the other person knows the “Share Password "(numeric)

The other person who’s going to remote in, will need to click on the “View a Remote PC” button and enter the “Share Password” provided into the box below, click on the OK button then wait until another window is displayed showing the other person’s machine screen.

It is absolutely free and useful…Probably you can try this in your office with your colleague or try it on your own machine…

Good Luck!

Creating perfect relationship?

Trust is a very important factor for all relationships. When trust is broken, it is the end of the relationship. Lack of trust leads to suspicion, suspicion generates anger, anger causes enmity and enmity may result in separation.

A telephone operator told me that one day she received a phone call. She answered, "Public Utilities Board." There was silence. She repeated, "PUB." There was still no answer. When she was going to cut off the line, she Heard a lady's voice, "Oh, so this is PUB. Sorry, I got the number from my Husband's pocket but I do not know whose number it is."

Without mutual trust, just imagine what will happen to the couple if the telephone operator answered with just "hello" instead of "PUB".
A man asked his father-in-law, "Many people praised you for a successful marriage. Could you please share with me your secret?" The father-in-law answered in a smile, "Never criticize your wife for her shortcomings or when she does something wrong. Always bear in mind that because of her shortcomings and weaknesses, she could not find a better husband than you."

We all look forward to being loved and respected. Many people are afraid of losing face. Generally, when a person makes a mistake, he would look around to find a scapegoat to point the finger at. This is the start of a war. We should always remember that when we point one finger at a person, the other four fingers are pointing at ourselves.

If we forgive the others, others will ignore our mistake too.
A person visited the government matchmaker for marriage, SDU, and requested "I am looking for a spouse. Please help me to find a suitable one." The SDU officer said, "Your requirements, please." "Oh, good looking, polite, humorous , sporty, knowledgeable, good in singing and dancing. Willing to accompany me the whole day at home during my leisure hour, if I don't go out. Telling me interesting stories when I need companion for conversation and be silent when I want to rest." The officer listened carefully and replied, "I understand you need television."

There is a saying that a perfect match can only be found between a blind wife and a deaf husband, because the blind wife cannot see the faults of the husband and the deaf husband cannot hear the nagging of the wife. Many couples are blind and deaf at the courting stage and dream of perpetual perfect relationship. Unfortunately, when the excitement of love wears off, they wake up a nd discover that marriage is not a bed of roses. The nightmare begins.

"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away "

* The above is taken from a forwarded email of my dear friend...it is one of the greatest forwarded email I've ever read...reading the above make us thinking and mirroring.....very meaningful indeed..

Thanks beck..love this tag..some kind of motivation (bila suda jadi millionaire la...)

Hikaru No Go

This week alone I'm kind of free and lazy (I hadn't felt this for quite some time...)..my days in the office were slow as there was not much work to do (read last week and this week's newspapers, reviewing development works and sleep...hehe)...at home, most of the time, I was in front of my PC or lying down on my bed watching anime (one that I like)..I haven't completed downloading the entire episodes though...I began watching this anime on last Sunday when there was nothing to do...well to be exacts...it was more like a re-watch...I first watched it a year ago (I borrowed from one of my friend who has over hundreds of anime DVD collection – downloaded+burned la bukan original..hehe) Currently,I have watched up to the episode 64 (out of 75 episodes) I will certainly finish watching this by today...then, I look forward to watch another anime entitled “Midori No Hibi"...also a re-watch but first I will need to download episodes by episodes….the same I did for Hikaru No Go as it will take ages to download the whole collection at once...

A short summary of the "Hikaru No Go" anime

Hikaru Shindo is just a normal twelve year old Japanese boy. But, one day, as he's going through his grandfather's old things to see what he can sell, he comes across an old Go board. A ghost type figure comes out of the board and tells Hikaru his sad story. His name is Fujiwara no Sai (or Sai of the Fujiwara), a man who was the Go Instructor, a thousand years ago, to the Emperor of Japan. However, Sai was falsely accused of cheating, and was exiled from the city. With no reason to live, Sai committed suicide by drowning himself. Now, he haunts a Go board and wants to achieve the perfect Go game, a move called the "Hand of God." He hopes to do this through Hikaru. Thus this story of growth, learning, and excitement begins...

If you look at it..I think this board game Go is also known as Othello board game (western)….also as ”perang-perang”among budak-budak sekolah in the late 80’s and early 90’s….I used to play this game using my math’s exercise book (yang petak-petak kecil)….where players will use the marks of ‘x’ and ‘o’ to mark and differentiate their territory..masih ingat kah ni…only mereka yang membesar di zaman tertentu saja tahu ni…I think in the late 90’s the game has lost its popularity and I would not be surprised if most kids today does not have any idea of this game at all…pity you all…..

Have a great weekend peeps!

Slow weekend.....I'm lovin' it

A tiring trip to KL last week..plus the day light saving time for UK shift this week onwards...really gave me a quite hard time to adjust my body these past few days...speaking of UK shift...On Monday onwards, the shift will start from 5pm and finish at 1am in the morning..if i have plenty more things to do then I will end up 2am or more....perhaps I had prepared for the changes to take effect and managed to go back 10-15 minutes before 2am this whole week...on Friday night, I arrived home as late as 2:40am due to several things especially sending out Development & Support Team's reports accordingly....well, I wouldn't want to change the state of my mind from weekday to weekend if there's thing needing looking and completion..maybe I was hoping for something that night that I had a feeling someone at home were drinking...I was true....haha..we call it "kosingud" in Dusun language...haha...Mr Jew and his cousin (currently undergoing some kind of programme in USM) were drinking..I saw there was a crate of beer and according to them, they had started earlier and had drank more than a crate...I asked where's Mr Joel...he was asleep as he had to work tomorrow morning.....then I chatted with them..and went up to my room to sleep...do you think I would really do that?? then it's not me at all..haha..so I joined them..gave them a helping stomach (I'm not giving my hand to help instead of giving my stomach to fill up the beer in)..drank about 5 cans for the night..good enough for me to fell dizzy and sleepy.....cheers to that!

So, how was my weekend so far? nothing much...as per planned, I stayed at home...resting and doing some house chores..kasi bersih semak samun dekat gate...up to this moment, I still have nothing to do...Mr Joel proposed (last night) to watch the latest James Bond movie today...I'm not in a mood to go out right now but I wouldn't know later this evening..I was actually expecting a PC to be delivered to me since yesterday..Mr Brandon's friend was asking if I could help looking at his PC....there seems to have some major problem as he couldn't switch on the PC at all....of course there's power but it doesn't want to boot etc...I have no further details at the moment so I couldn't really say what is happening....

I'm currently doing a facial treatment..hehe..why? you guys think only women will do facial treatment? Conservative betul la...as I've said before...I'm a very simple guy...still, self-presentation is as important as making sure yourself is clean....haha...I have some kind of sun burnt on my nose ba..so the black spot as well as some black heads needing removing and cleaning..so why not when I have nothing to do kan....last night I had a steam treatment and now I'm waiting for my mask to dry..a traditional mask by using the egg white...I'm sure most women are aware of this method and its benefit to our skin (a prime facilitator in skin tightening and rejuvenation)...because I need to remove those black heads, I opted for facial tissues and thankfully I still have enough to get this done..hehe...we can use egg white as a cream though..I was once a "model" for my sisters and mum for facial practice..haha..but I love it when they do facial treatment as well as hair treatment on me..I could barely remember at some point I fell asleep whilst they were doing their free treatment..haha...those were the days when I was a little boy..my mum used to pull out any unhealthy hair if she spotted one...or sometimes she will check my scalp..cari kutu?No...haha..she was looking for dandruff...and if she found any, she cleaned that spot and asked me to wash+clean my head+hair...hehe...

I'm off now..my mask is already dried..need to take shower now..hope you guys had a great weekend!

Officially removed

Few days ago, I've mentioned that I was thinking of removing the Designated Songs Collection widget on my sidebar and today I've decided to get on with that..

so, do not be surprised to see there is no more songs play list on the sidebar from now on...I'm not sure if any of you ever noticed or cared about that though..
By doing so, I'm hoping loading Designated Hermitage would take less time than ever...also..it will save more time for you to scroll down to look for the shoutbox or any relevant items as desired on the sidebar...

So long, farewell to my songs collection...nothing last forever...

In or Out?

It has been how many years since Malaysia was formed, still some people is not sensible enough about the existence of Sabah or Sarawak in "Malaysia" itself. This people thought that Sabah is just another country or certainly not part of Malaysia..I wonder why and what make they think that way? I wonder if it all began from school where you learn History of Malaysia, Asia and World? I wonder if there have some kind of brain-wash-program-seminar in Peninsular Malaysia that made them thinking Sabah is not part of Malaysia..

I usually don't mind if I get this from someone that I don't really know...unfortunately I got this from someone who should have knew about it as I'm her colleague...I've been working with her for over a year....been talking about Sabah (culture, community, life style and etc) with her...I'm not blaming her nor not happy with that..I'm just curious that how this idea or way of thinking exist within Malaysian community...

It began from a text message last night..I was working in the office and I received a text message from her as follow...

"Wei...U hv any frenz back in Sabah ah who r looking 4 a job in malaysia...my fren has a contract tat needs bout 100 ppl...." - Tapir Bte Tenuk, 04-11-2008 10:11 PM

After reading the message, I then replied...

"None that I knw of....y la from sabah work in malaysia...sabah is/also malaysia.." - Wel^Beiolman, 04-11-2008

I was busy consulting/supporting customer at that time but still, I could not ignore what she has to say about the text message..well I was on the phone with a customer and my right hand was holding my mobile replying a text message to wish a sweet-good-night message to someone I care...she replied...

"Oh ya...sorry ah..haha..." - Tapir Bte Tenuk, 04-11-2008 10:45 PM

With that response, I then decided not to reply and left it that way...I guess she was just not well aware of the geographical and history of Malaysia..that's all kan...So, back to my curiosity...can someone tell me why some of this too-proud-to-be-Malaysian or this stupid-moron-Malaysian thinks Sabah is no part in Malaysia...if Sarawak..I can understand as we need to use passport (especially people coming from peninsular) to enter the state and will be given a visitation visa.....correct me if am wrong ah..never been to Sarawak lagi ni..but that's what I heard from people who had been there...could it be the history text books used in schools around Peninsular Malaysia are differ to the ones we use in Sabah? I wonder.....

Back to work...

I (we) had a great weekend....

Friday as scheduled, we left home at around 7pm heading to the Penang Bridge was a total failure...it was a massive jam! imagine cars were lining up at the bridge's entry...so we decided to have dinner and for about an hour after we then managed to enter the bridge with lots of patience..by almost 9pm we then exited the bridge and began our real journey to Key Hell...we were kind of late as the bash party was scheduled at 10pm...I was driving Jew's Neo 1.3 and maintaining 140 kph (although sometime I went over 150 kph for couple of times) was not really hard..moreover, it has a good-strong-solid engine as well as body for smooth handling especially tackling corners..we managed to reach Key Hell less than 3 hours then stopped some where around the Curve (Damansara) waiting for Mr Brandon to come..he came with another friend of us then went to join others at Bambo9 (TTDI building)....the party was alright, well..the place was packed with people and I was not really in a good shape....eyes were kind of tired due to head lights from oncoming cars from earlier journey to KL.....before we went home, we headed to Kayu Nasi Kandar for a meal/supper...

Baru sahaja bermimpi...
Saturday at Mr Brandon's house..we had a small reunion party (me, Mr Jew, Mr Joel, Mr Brandon, Mr Alex, Mr Rayner, Mr Cero, Mr Guz, Ms Cheryle a.k.a Mrs Guz in near time soon) Ms Eva and Ms Mandy)..just to catch up with each others...we had a BBQ..4 crates of beer (2 carls and 2 special brew)..few bottles of liquor..but we only managed to finish 3 crates of beer...most of us were tired that day..Mr Guz was badly poisoned by the "Graveyard" on the night before....earlier that evening, we (me, Mr Jew, Mr Joel and Mr Brandon) were waiting for almost 3 hours at a workshop in Puchong to service Ms Eva and Mr Jew's cars...whilst waiting, we met 3 sabahans (Penampang) waiting for their car to be serviced..coincidentally, 2 of them knew Mr Brandon through their cousin...overall, the party went smooth and it was a great small party...
Sedang di buai mimpi indah...
Sunday....we went to Lumut, Perak for the Paku's show at 3pm...it was held at the TLDM village, opposite the Bernama complex..other than Paku, there was another band called "Beat the system" coming all the way from KL...so they started the show and followed by Paku..done with that, we then headed home......arrived at home around 8:30pm....when I switched on my pc, "service.exe" error came up causing failure to boot...tried several times but to no avail..tried without internet connection, the pc was able to login to windows but after couple of minutes..it restarted itself...I then ran the recovery application from the bootable Windows installer CD and it fixed the problem...thank god..if not I have to reformat my pc again and I don't think I can manage to do that right now...I really need a rest, yet I stayed up watching the final F1 race in Brazil..haha..no worries as I'm on UK Shift tomorrow (this week) which allow me to sleep up to 3pm if I need to...OK, now I want to get some good sleep and dreams...Good Night...

Updated on 4th November 2008
Mr Jew has requested me to show the pics of me sleeping+drunk+dreaming....well I was the unlucky guy in the house as I had to sleep outside...on a cushion...Mr Joel and Mr Jew were enjoying the air conditioned room+queen size bed....combining the size of Mr Joel and Mr Jew together, no wonder that even the queen size bed looked smaller....I just wonder why on earth la my tummy kana kasi nampak sana..haha..mentang-mentang seksi..haha...
