The law of....

A definition of love by a person who have had stormy relationship may sounds utterly shit...or may not by a person who's having a blossom love...

Pouring your love towards someone and be loved in return may sounds like heaven of relationship....or may not when you realize it may not last....

Falling towards the opposite sex...or perhaps towards your own kind may sounds like dreamland...or may not when you realize it may not make you flying...

Losing someone you're deeply in love may sounds like suicidal...or may not when you realize it may not stop you from trying...

Trying hard to impress someone you've had feeling may sounds desperate...or may not when you realize it may teaches you about courage...

Whereas, the love portrayed in "Marley & Me" deserves 5 drips of man-tears....

* Watched the DVD last night.....so far the best movie I've had in 2009!

Wrong Timing....

It is as what the title says...

I have to spend lots of RM to fix a car...have no option than to swap a second hand gearbox and replace its clutch kit...

I've saved some RM meant for other debts but unfortunately...you would not know when disaster strikes, wouldn't you?

It's no one mistakes..it just happened and it gives me no option...

Cheers to that though and thanked him for whatever it means...

*A different issue...to whom it may concern: why can't you think and grow up to have a bit of civilization in your head and cares for the consequences to others in their daily life? You dare to say....you want to be a better person in your 'terms' but can't you even think of this small-common-sense-thing that ruining your own credibility as an educated person....

Nothing compares to your home (Country)... Finale

A’ight! The last part of the journey sudah (macam panjang pula kan)...Monday, Tuesday and Friday; I was in the office…I followed one of our senior trainers to visit our new customer in Basildon, Essex on Wednesday and Thursday…Friday, I had a lunch with the Support team there then later after work we went for a quick drink at nearby country bar…..I continued later at the hotel’s bar..just a pine of warm Guinness Stout then back to hotel, packed my stuff as I need to wake up early tomorrow…
the hotel's bar
Woke up very early at 5:00am to do what I had to do...returned the hotel’s key and took some pictures…too bad I didn’t get the chance to say good bye to Ian…he was not there that morning….I had a one last glimpse of the surrounding and drove to the office where the our company driver (Bentley) picked me up at 8:03am as promised....I salute! They always punctual! I left the car, key and mobile at the office and off to London...

Since I didn’t manage to get to London earlier, our CEO made a little arrangement as a warm gesture from him to not be able to spend much time when I was there….he arranged the driver to take me to London for sightseeing…although it was quick and wet (raining) day yet it was worth a visit...the driver had to make a quick stop to allow me to take pictures...we were early in London to avoid the protest on G20 Summit...my flight back to Kuala Lumpur was at 5:30pm and I was dumped at the Stanstead Airport before 1:00pm…I bought 3 magazines (cost me about £15 purposely to empty my pocket from shillings) I was questioned (by security authority) 3 times whilst I was at the airport…another 12 hours journey back to Malaysia...

I arrived at 2:15pm, 29th March and had another flight to Penang at 7:30pm...instead of 7:30pm though, the plane was delayed to 10:40pm…I was bangas di LCCT bertemankan sigup dan kereta F1 (simulation game)…Finally I arrived at home at midnight....

Nothing compares to your home (Country)... Part II

21st March...I was in Cambridge…it was early morning but there were lots of people enjoying their Saturday...I walked pass the market (Pasar Tamu) and saw many interesting stuffs i.e. iron-metal arts design, portraits, clothes, shoes, dvds, foods, flowers and antiques stuff….I wasn’t planning on buying anything except foods….I ate delicious hot-dog sold at the side of a road (the stall name is The Hot sausage) couple of you might knew or aware that I love the 1901 Hot dog very much...having the chance to eat a hot-dog at the side of a road (as what you've always saw in movies or on tv) was so great...I used to hang out (sit and eat) at the 1901 Hot-dog stall in Bukit Jambul shopping complex (the nearest shopping complex to my house; 3 kms) almost every weekend…too bad though, it’s been replaced by something that sells waffle since 2 years ago...the only places that I could enjoy the 1901 Hot-dog now (especially the New York Chicken) are at cinemas...sometimes I bought 2 of them!!

Itu tuuuuna la hot-dog saya makan..hehe...
I spent the whole Saturday observing the beauty of Cambridge...managed to see a graduation day…observed few street musician…window shopping…enjoyed a sandwich with pork ham+salad+tomato, a bottle of fresh orange juice and couple of cigarettes at the public park...saw several couples enjoying their “romantic” moment under the cold climate and sunny day at the public park…

The main attraction to me whilst window shopping was looking and thinking at how many original DVD I could possibly buy at cheaper price...I could get them at ₤3.00! However, I was in doubt about DVD player's compatibility in Malaysia…I’m aware that every country has its own region code and compatibility for every electric device...Malaysia is region 1 which could indicate our DVD player could only play DVD with the same region code?? Anyone knows about this???

Duduk-duduk makan lunch di tepi public park sambil menonton keindahan 'pemandangan'
Ganjil la pokok di sana...kau ingat tiada harapan lagi mahu hidup sebab tinggal ranting kering lagi..sekali ada bunga-bunga..pandai tu pokok-pokok menipu..
I think it was about 4:00pm that I decided to go home....I didn’t buy anything except foods for lunch and went to Sainsburry’s Supermarket to buy food supply in my room; orange juice, strawberries (my main fruit whilst in UK), junk food (pringles), ham and bread for a quick own-made-sandwich also some toiletries on my way back to the parking park...jalan punya jalan, sesat lagi...I couldn’t remember where was the parking park building….most of the buildings are look a like...dengan tenang aku imbas kembali the walking path I took (stage by stage) and managed to find the building...apa tidak sesat, di sudut bandar pula itu bangunan and kena lindung oleh bangunan lain…I went to the auto-pay machine and paid ₤7.20 for the parking!!!I spent less than ₤10.00 at Sainsburry’s Supermarket for all the stuffs I bought….cukup suda untuk makan 3 hari itu duit parking..haha...my journey back wasn’t that good...I was almost got caught by the “tiang bergerak” at the middle of the road…certain roads in UK have an access restriction; only public buses and registered taxis are allowed to get through the ‘gate'...I came out from a roundabout behind a public bus then entered a road next to a park where I saw a signboard showing “Haverhill A1307”, the place I needed to go…I didn’t even realize there have the ‘gate’ in less than 30 meters…I saw a bus in front of me and I was about 10 meters behind driving cautiously…suddenly I saw the "tiang bergerak" naik and turun once the bus left the ‘gate’….then that was the moment I saw the signboard about the access restriction on both left-right sides of the ‘gate’…I was thinking; If I go, the car might get hit by the ‘"iang bergerak" or if I reverse the car, I might get traffic fine by police....I drove slowly and saw the "tiang bergerak" descending slowly…I looked at the rear mirror, there I saw a public bus approaching...dengan leganya aku memandu seperti tiada apa yang terjadi..selamat juga lah...

Arrived at the hotel, resting and ate own-made-sandwich….later that evening, I went down to the hotel’s bar and had a very nice dinner; a steak and a pine of warm Guinness Stout which cost me ₤17.45 and ₤3.49 respectively..had a couple of cigarettes outside the hotel’s bar then went up to my room to get rest...

Naik perahu sendiri tolak...tengok itu stick penolak dorang panjang tapi sekali masuk dalam air, tinggal sikit lagi untuk pegang....dalam gila ni sungai...
22nd March...I woke up as usual that morning, 7:20am...I had nothing to do so I watched tv up until 9:00am then had my breakfast as usual at the hotel’s restaurant…I drove to Haverhill town but nothing was interesting….it was a Mother’s Day…then from Haverhill, I drove to Cambridge again…I had the hot sausage as my lunch in Cambridge…I would never get bored of eating that! Spent several hours there and I drove to Newmarket, Norwich…as a matter of fact, it is situated at the outskirt of Norwich and about 47 miles from Cambridge…I didn’t plan to go to Newmarket so I purposely left the camera at the hotel...Newmarket is a small country side town famous for horse breading and racing…I don’t know if any of you have really saw a real race horse but the horses I saw in Newmarket were huge and masculine….looking at the size of these horses reminds me of the movies like Braveheart, Gladiator and Conan The Barbarian…..spent about an hour there and drove back to Haverhill town then to the office (wanted to get familiar with the road for the next working day) before I went back to the hotel, I stopped at the nearby supermarket to buy 3 layers sandwich, orange juice, strawberries and Tabasco sauce for a dinner....perhaps due to the cold climate, I couldn’t get hungry or hungered for heavy food….it suits me well enough…I slept quite late that night at almost 2:00am but surprisingly I woke up very early the next morning at 5:20am to start my real purpose in UK...

Suhu di luar kereta di waktu siang....
Sejuk mata kiri kanan perjalanan hijau saja...
Sudi-sudi lah makan sweet-fresh strawberries

*Apology for the poor quality of pictures...am not an amateur and nor expert bah...it's the experience that counts...hehe...

Nothing compares to your home (Country)...

That’s the one main thing that came to my mind after couple of days in UK…

The hotel's main building...restaurant, bar and office
Bentley
19th March, I boarded a plane from Penang Airport at 12:25pm then waited about 2 hours for the next flight to Stanstead, London at 4:30pm the same day. Arrived at the Stanstead Airport, I had to wait for almost an hour in a queue for Immigration Check (passport clearance). When I walked out of the arrival hall, I saw a man holding a board with my surname on it!! Dengan selamba saya mendekati beliau…and introduced myself. The time was almost midnight, whilst walking to the car I noticed the coldness has began to freeze me….arrived at the car, I was kind of shock to see the car he drives! It’s a BENTLEY!! How cool would that be to have a Bentley in Malaysia (Sultans and some money-ass-licker-ministers would have this car) Arrived at the Old Red Lion Hotel about 30 minutes after…a guy (hotel staff) approached me and guided me to my room, No.6 with 2 plates on his hand…that was my first refreshment in UK. First day in UK was not easy…I had a problem to sleep. I wasn’t even jet lag or anything near to tired; perhaps I was kind of excited to finally reach UK…I had never dream to come to UK though….I finally managed to get a sleep at about 5am then woke up at 7:20am that morning….

The hotel's room..my room was no.6 (top floor on the right)
My first refreshment in UK
At 9:00am, I went to the hotel’s restaurant to have my first breakfast of Full English set (toasted bread, ham, hotdog, egg, beans, cooked mushrooms and tomato, orange juice, tea) I was scheduled to be picked up by our Finance Manager at 10:00am that morning….she was punctual! Arrived at 10:02am and straight away she went out of her Porsche and approached me….she’s a lovely lady…few years back, we used to chat in emails…she shares any interesting stuffs like holiday trip to Africa, Italy and Rome…sometimes she tells me about her weekend day-in with husband enjoying a BBQ with couple of wine at her house with relatives…tells me about her daughter who had failed her driving test for 9 consecutive times…she’s no stranger to me as she knows a bit of my social (party & drink) life…she then showed me which roads to take to go to the office at Great Wratting, Haverhill. We arrived at the office, she introduced me to the colleagues that were in that day…..I have seen their pictures last month though, so I wasn't having problem to remember their names and faces….She then gave me an envelope (cash allowance inside), a mobile phone and walked me outside the office to see the company car then gave me the key…its aToyota Avensis..I was not supposed to stay at the office that day but since I had nothing to do…I decided to spend my time listening to one of our new support staff’s conversation with customers….we setup a dual connection to his phone where I can use the other connection to listen to whatever the customers and he were saying over the phone…..I helped him on solving several of the issues where he couldn’t provide immediate solution to customers query…too bad though, that was the only time I had with him because he was on holiday to Spain the week after whilst I will be in the office using his table and stuffs..I ended up leaving the office at 5:15pm with the others…..my journey back home..I was lost!!! Damn it!!! There have 3 roundabouts which I remember if I drive from the hotel, it will be 9-9-12 o’clock turn. I missed the 12 o’clock turn and I ended up driving back to the office from another direction….that was the only time I got lost though…I arrived at the hotel about 45 minutes later and straight away went to the hotel’s restaurant to have my dinner….then back to the hotel, unpack my clothes into the cupboard and watched tv (resting)

The hotel's restaurant
Ian's dog (the hotel's owner)
21st March, Saturday…..I woke up early at 7:30am then enjoyed my morning relaxation in a hot bath tub…..I had my breakfast at 8:30am and the hotel’s owner, Ian introduced me to one of his old friend who had arrived last night from Kuala Lumpur…his name is Ian as well!!! We both seat at the same table and had small chat about Malaysia (mesti la pasal politik yang bengong..haha) he’s staying in Damansara and been working in Malaysia for over 18 months…..I finished my breakfast earlier than his then I left the table to have my morning cigarettes outside….WARNING! you are not allowed to smoke in a building (this applies to most bar or pub in UK) I spent couple of minutes in the car studying the car’s manual and the map…the car is equipped with a GPS navigation screen but I was having problem to set it up…yesterday I had already been given a big thick book containing the road map of all city/town in UK…looking at the road map, I figured the journey to Cambridge was a straight forward road and I was right…there have plenty of road signs along the road as guidance...excluding the speed limit signs and speed limit camera every 1 mile or sometime less…the journey took less than 30 minutes (17 miles distance) although the speed limits were 30mph and 40mph…..the first problem I had in Cambridge was to get a parking…I was told by my manager, the hotel’s owner and the company’s cab driver that the parking fee in UK is very expensive…..£1.20 per hour! You can buy a pack of nice sandwich with ham in UK with that amount! I finally found one parking park as they call it (it’s a 5 tiers parking building) and there I had another problem of having a big car but a very small space for parking (Malaysia has wider gap for parking and driving lane) I found one good spot and it has wider gap for reversing and parking..fuh….
