Some may have already know that I'm currently working as a Software Tech Support with a UK based company which has about over 300 customers in all over UK and over 10 customers in Oz....most of my daily responsibility is dealing with these customers via VOIP phone with some tools like Remote Desktop Protocol and Webex where applicable...
Speaking with British and Australian has its ups and downs; language barrier...not to mention their accents...believe me when I say you'll fell lucky to be on the phone with Londoners or North region of Australia but not some other parts of UK especially Scot (Ms Flo who's residing in Aberdeen may have mastered their accent but I still find it difficult most of the time) or South region of Australia...
This however, give me a chance to sometime have a 'play' with their accents..as if a Sabahan residing in Penang and learning to speak Penang accent where 'R' becomes 'Q'...no offense, it's unique and beautiful...hehe...
