New Colleague - Part 2

3nd June was her 2nd day working...today...could be her last day...yesterday evening, I received a call from her saying she was not feeling alright..she had a stomach pain..before I left office...she looked fine and healthy...so I joked with her asking if she were pregnant..then reminded her to come to office tomorrow with doctor's medical leave form...then later at night, my other colleague who trains her and to work with her, sent couple of texts..asking me to do something as she couldn't stand at the new lady's attitude anymore...last week she told me that the new lady came late over 10 minutes..that was still acceptable but what the new lady did afterwards was unacceptable..she came in and directly went to the meeting room..read newspaper..dreaming/thinking of something whilst facing the sea..playing with her mobile...then after about 15 minutes she then came to her table and login to her pc...she doesn't even care checking her e-mail...or at least switching her PC on...what kind of attitude was that?..want more? she actually hasn't talked to the manager in the UK asking for a verbal approval yesterday..she knew she can just call him instead of sending an email..my other colleague said..it looked like as if she had planned the act earlier...she send email to the manager in UK..call me to let me know and get my approval..then leave the office...my manager then called several minutes after..but the new lady has already left..what was that?

I've received lots of complaints from my other colleague of the new lady's lackadaisical and effort or even her initiative to learn..before her interview in May, she had actually cancelled her interview..I was the one who she spoke to, asking me to let the manager knows about it..after a week..she came back..my manager said he gave a second chance...when I was given the task to train her..I was willing to train her..but after several days..day by day..I realised she had learned nothing..I taught her ABC the day before and the next day when I asked her about B she answered me C..WTF!!! thankfully I'm a very patient person...I didn't give up though but I can't manage to train her..to guide developers..to consult customers..to do QA and testing...since training wasn't my job requirement..so I suggested the task to be given to my other colleague....I know that my colleague is quite fierce sometimes when she trains her..but that's all good for her...at the same time..her performance and progress does not going positively as expected..what went wrong..I observed her training process and what she was trained on daily basis..she should have gotten better instead..

After 4 weeks..after she's got her 1st salary...I received a call from her today..telling me she wanted to resign..said she can't come to office anymore today...as she would start working at her new company today...so I told him..you must come to the office today, write a formal letter and talk to the manager in UK..you still need to come to return all the keys provided to you...at least say sorry and a good farewell..instead of leaving a bad remark..she kept quiet and replied OK..conversation ended....I had asked how long she would gonna last in my previous post of New Colleague...well..this is good than later kan..hehe...most of us does not really like her also...one thing I really hate about her was her attitude to produce the sound of "tsk".."tsk"..this only occurred whenever I asked questions...if the answers she gave were correct OK..but they were wrong...the "tsk" sounds was likely representing her mind trying to tell me that "malas la...mahu juga tanya soalan.."you all knew and of course sometimes insulted when people use that "tsk" whilst you're talking to them..its a way of showing off your tense mind...your disagreement..etc..What ever it was....I just wanted to say...Good luck to you lady...wish you all the success in your next career..

She had planned her get away!!! she left all the keys provided to her in her locker....and emptied her locker..the manager tried to call her mobile several times but failed..it seems that she turned off her mobile..pity the manager as he needs to explain to the management...

I talk to my manager today..the management might take legal action..either inform to some employ2 punya badan mau kasi blacklisted..suda la...black..I suggest to blacklist her in any job seeking service web based i.e jobstreet..last2 dia p d sabahjobseeker pula..hehe..

not me flo...I told my manager oso that I don't prefer her...but he has want jg..lg pun not him alone made d decision ba..our director oso ikut...but ok la jg sebab I tok to my manager today..he said if not now maybe later..atleast still ok..he just got pissed coz d way she left...and all her lies..

Had an x colleague who pre-planned her way too. I used to work in a slimming ctr ok..ahaha. So this lady came in as the consultant. As sales consultant, she has the benefit to try all the slimming treatment so she know how to promote the treatment to clients. Since it's free and bikin kurus, she tidak mau rugi lah and did whatever yang boleh bikin smbil2 diet lah.. Few mths later, she resigned..then flew off to hong kong to get married. Rupa2nya, she memang pok the free slimming treatment so she can easily slim down for her wedding. Smart or what? ha ha.. Itu crita memang sah, benar dan bermotif!! mph! lol

hey i also got the sane type of colleague =>

as a contract staff, you gt 14 days of MC and 14 days of annual leave. she started in january 08 and to date she has 24 days of MC!!plus she has very bad ethnic and never follow up case which ended up we as the team members cleaning up her dirt. not to mention the wrong information she gave out and complaints she got.

hi vera...what a terrible world we're living ah..I wanna move to otehr world la..that's really dangerous..she didn't even care to get the correct information at first place kah..wahaha...this is a huge matter when dealing with customers..not easy to get customer's respect or trust once we have provided a wrong information..walawei..what happens to the world...are we naive or are we being prejudiced to these attitude...

ya la. macam-macam suda customer complaint sekarang. being in the service line, anything lower than a 4 star treatment is consider very bad already. peant oh me, clearing up someone's shit.

I agree with u la vera..being in service line is not as easy that most people would have thought kan..first u must have least the up-to-date knowledge about your things..then you must have the required comm skills to comm with them..then again you shall have self confident lagi..then u alone must feel confident and pretty sure your knowledge us trusted...

while ago..someone said..this kinda job is easy..one of our sabahan junior oso..then when he started working..he couldn't communicate with his superior..moreover..they were locals...malaysian not mat salleh..we have our manglish yet he couldn't do nothing instead kept quiet when bombed..but he's quite famous for his remarks oso so..enough said la..hehe..
